"What's up, Rick?" I answered the phone a bit confused. "I forgot to tell you. Pack something nice to wear, we're having dinner with some important people over the weekend." Rick's voice sounded careless and excited at the same time. "What? With whom? I have nothing to wear!" I shouted. "Bring money then, and we'll go shopping"

"But... who's the important people?"

"I can't tell you yet." He said in a misterious tone. "Rick." I replied a bit pissed. "I'm sorry, Sof. Just make sure you'll have some nice clothes on on saturday. Can't wait to see you tomorrow, sis. Bye." Ricardo blurted, and he inmediatly hung up.
Ricardo is my brother, but he's also my best friend. Even though he lives 5 hours away by plane, we're very close.

After I finished packing, I didn't felt like sleeping so I decided to check my favorite band's, The Killers, tour dates. I saw they were going to play in Tucson the same date I was going to be there! I couldn't help it but scream and call Rick.
"Rick! Rick! Rick!"
"What the hell, Sofía? It's 3:00 a.m" He answered the phone a bit sleepy and clearly pissed.
"Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, but you need to know this!" I said.
"What is it?" Rick replied.
"The Killers! They're playing in Tucson this week and I'm going to be there and well, I would like to go, you know. You don't have to go with me if you don't want to but I really really wanna go with you! Pleaseee!" I said letting my inner fangirl take control of the situation.
"Yeah. Let me see if I can buy the tickets. Now go to sleep."

"Thank you, Rick! Good night, sorry for waking you up tho. See you in a few hours!" I said my goodbies happily. "Yeah, whatever. Bye." Rick said before I hung up.

It was Monday, and I finally made it to Tucson's Airport. I was really excited for finally seeing my brother after so much time. When I walked out the gate, I ran and hugged Rick as hard as I could. We had lunch in a local burger restaurant and then we headed to Rick's house. I remembered the las time I came here. The house remains the same but with some new furniture and less people. Rick used to live with his two best friends friends a couple of years ago. I went to my room. It wasn't my room exactly, but every time I visit Ricardo I stay there.

On Wednesday, Ricardo drove me to the mall to buy some clothes for the event we were having on Saturday. After buying a nice dress and shoes, we went back to the house. Rick told me he couldn't get the tickets for The Killers' gig on Friday. I was sad, but I knew I would see them some other time, maybe in Mexico. I spent Thursday cleaning up the house a bit.

I woke up on Friday, I went downstairs and saw Rick getting ready to go to work.
"Morning, Fo." I used to call Rick that way when I was a kid. I don't know why it came out of my mouth today, but in the end it was his nickname. "Morning, Goo." He replied, calling me the way he called me when I was a baby. "I'm going to work now, but at night, I'll show you something. Be ready." He said as he walked out the door. "Okaaay." I said in confusion. "Have a nice day!" I shouted before he shutted the door. I was going to do nothing for the day so I stayed in my pijamas, watching movies and listening to The Killers untill 4:00 PM.
