Brandon's POV
I listened to Dire Straits while driving. I couldn't stop thinking about Sofía. I should've kissed her while All I Want Is You was playing. I love how I can be myself around her. I guess I'm falling for her, and fast. She's different from the others. She won't make a fuss for anything. She's not just another girl.
I soon arrived to the airport where I met with my bandmates.

It was a long flight and I hate flying, but somehow, thinking of Sofía made me less nervous. We landed in New York at 11:00 pm. "Yo, Brando. Why didn't you make a fuss about flying this time?" Ronnie asked as we entered the hotel. "I uh- don't know. I guess I matured." I said nervously. "Yeah, sure." Mark rolled his eyes. "You were smiling like a dork the whole flight. Is it for a pretty lady?" Dave smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Guys, instead of asking, you should be proud that now I can fly without kinda dying." I grunted.
"It's definitely a lady." Ron shouted. "For sure." Dave nodded. I rolled my eyes and started walking through the lobby at a faster pace.
I was about to sleep when I remembered I forgot to call Sofía because I was so busy thinking of her. I quickly got up and looked for my phone in my backpack. I was about to press the green button when I became aware of the hour. It was almost 2:00 a.m. I decided it was a better idea to call her the next morning.

Main POV
Weeks have passed since the last time Brandon was here. Each day that passed I thought of him, and I couldn't help it but miss him. I missed his face and his voice. I wanted him to hug me and watch U2 concerts with me forever.

"Goo, I have to go to Vegas for business. I need you to come with me." Rick said while we were having dinner.
"Oh my god! If it's Vegas the answer is always yes and you know that." I nearly choked since my mouth was full. "The problem is..." Rick looked concerned. "Dawn is also coming."
"Why does she have to ruin my first time in Vegas?" I grunted. "It's supposed to be perfect."
"Listen, I know you don't like her and she doesn't like you either. But you're my sister, she's my girlfriend and I love you both, so you better learn to deal with each other." He said in all seriousness. "Ugh. Fine." I rolled my eyes. "I'm not asking you to be her best friend! Just be nice, that's all." He said. "Alright. Just because it's Vegas." I mumbled. "Thanks. I love you." He said with a warm smile. "How many days are we staying there?" I asked. "For about two weeks. You can check UNLV while there." He said. "Two weeks!? That's awesome but you know I have a job, right?" I exclaimed. "Yeah. You have to go tomorrow morning and tell them you'll do the application process for university and you won't be here for a while, otherwise they won't give you permission." Rick answered. "That's brilliant. When are we leaving?" "Tomorrow night." He said. I ran upstairs to call Brandon and tell him the news.
****
We stayed at the Gold Coast. I didn't want to share a room with Rick and Dawn but I had no choice. I wanted to call Brandon, but I was sure he was going to tell me to go somewhere with him and I was not in the mood of going out. Dawn was getting ready to go out with Rick while I was just laying in bed staring at the celling. I found there was a small record player on the room so I immediately stood up and put Singles by Travis on. "Sing" started playing and I was just getting lost in the song when an annoying voice interrupted it. "Turn off that shitty music!" Dawn said to me. "It's Travis. It's not shitty." I said calmly without moving myself from the bed. "It's like listening to my grandma singing while dying. If you gonna use that record player you better put on Britney Spears or something good." She shouted. Okay that was it. I stood up from the bed and was going start a huge argument about it. "Listen, Dawn. Don't ever say that Travis sounds like a dying grandma again or you'll regret it." I said with threatening voice. Rick intervened before we went further. "Alright, ladies. I'm not going to let this happen. Dawn, don't judge my sister's music taste. Travis is a really good band, one of my favorites actually..." I had a grin on my face. For a second I thought he was going to put Dawn in her place for the first time in forever. But then he turned to me. "Sofía, turn the fucking music off. You're not alone in the room so please consider us. I don't want this to happen never again. You understand?" Rick said and he was clearly angry. Dawn and I nodded and we looked at each other with eyes full of anger. As soon as they left the room, I turned on the record player. I decided to call Avery since I haven't talked to her in a while. We spent like two hours talking and then I decided to put on my pj's and drift off to sleep.
