Chapter 4(Keefe's Pov)

"Okay thank you so much for everything!" I said excitedly. I can't believe it! I had Grady's blessing to be Foster's boyfriend. Is it Opposite Day or something?
"Oh you're welcome Keefe." Edaline said sweetly.
"I'm gonna talk to Sophie tomorrow, so I'm just gonna say bye and think about everything." I said.
"Okay. We won't say a word to Sophie." Grady said. Then he zipped his lips to show that he will be quiet.
"Bye. Thanks for everything again."
"Bye Keefe" they both said.
I ran up to Sophie's room. I knocked on the door. Then, she was standing there. She looked so, so beautiful with her brown eyes and her pretty blonde hair. She was blushing and smiling at me. I think she knew I was admiring her.
"Okay Hunkhair chop, chop." She said.
"As you wish, Lady Foss-Boss." I bowed. She giggled. I got butterflies and a warm feeling inside me.
"Okay I gotta go, but can we talk tomorrow? I just gotta think about some things." I asked.
"Oh. Yeah! Sure! Okay!" She sounded disappointed. I felt bad.
"What's wrong?" I said.
"Oh! Nothing! I was just,"
"You were just," I said when her voice trailed off.
"I just, didn't want to lose what we had today." Her voice turned small, as if she were embarrassed.
"That's what I was gonna think about. Also, why would you think that I would stop liking you after I have for years? Why do you think I never dated anyone else? Everyone wants to be with this hair." I pointed to my luscious* locks.
"Thanks, Keefe. No one ever waits that long for me."
"Well, I'm gonna leave you dreaming of my beauty tonight!" She glared at me. "Okay I'll hail you before I go to sleep. Or you should. I'll always be available to call okay?" I exclaimed.
"Okay crazy." She laughed.
"HEY! Ok bye Foster. You the best!" I yelled.
"Bye Keefe!" She yelled back. Then I stepped into the light and leaped away.
"Hi Elwin!" I yelled into his house. It didn't look like he was home.
"Oh hey Keefe." He sounded gloomier than usual.
"Is there anything wrong?" I asked.
"No. How bout you? You look happy." He smirked at me.
"Oh you know, I just get to ask Foster to be my girlfriend."
"Omg yay!" Elwin said. I love how he is the number one Team Foster-Keefe supporter. It's really funny. I laughed. "Took her long enough."
"I know right! But, um, they asked me if I would want to stay with them, they wouldn't be adopting me but I told them you wanted to adopt me too." I told him.
"Keefe, I want you to know that whoever you go with won't change a thing." Elwin told me.
"Okay. Thanks Elwin." Why was everyone wanting to be with me.
"Anytime"
That night I lie in my bed and I think about how I should ask Foster tomorrow. I think I'll just say 'So I was thinking, we both like each other, and I wanted to ask if you would want to be my girlfriend' or something like that. Then I drifted off to sleep.

I had a weird dream. It started out in this weird red room with gold dragons in it. Human thing probably. It was me, Foster, Fitz, and Dex. Then we had our matchmaking lists. We all opened them and Sophie was our number one. All of us. Then, on Sophie's, it just said Sorry. We can't help you from here., which was really weird. But then I woke up so yeah.
