A purple-and-black bipedal pig whistled as he walked through the dungeon. He felt proud of himself. Out of all of his friends and family he was the only one without a mate. He felt like he accomplished something by being the last.

He didn't want to settle down with anyone as this would put a hold on his training and his dream. He dreamt of being a world known explorer. And now? He was living that dream with an explorer's bag on his back and a good attitude.

His life was perfect. A loner like him didn't need any female to make him complete. Or at least not anyone he thought girlfriend or wife wise.

It wasn't that he wanted one, it was that no one was willing to stay with someone who they seemed 'fat.' So he gave up on finding one, and instead was enjoying the life of a Pokémon who would constantly explore.

He's explored through Hoenn, Galar, and now he was on Kalos. It was certainly a beautiful place. Full of fairy types and places to behold.

Right now he was within a dungeon within Lumiose City. No human could fit the holes a Pokémon could—or smell the holes for that matter. Even a Grumpig like him could fit.

He had clambered down until he fell into this place. And now? He was exploring to his heart's content.

He defeated each Pokémon with ease. He only was thwarted once when a Mothim used Quiver Dance after he had attacked it, thus allowing it to be much faster and stronger. And then he took out the pig Pokémon with a Bug Buzz.

He strolled down each staircase, not knowing when he'd reach the bottom. Pretty soon he would reach the bottom.

He wondered what treasures would await him down there.

He could be rich by now if he just sold his goods. However, he stuck with keeping them as they were far too precious to him than selling. He had become like a pirate in a way, yet still kept his good heart.

He traversed even further down the dungeon. He fought Pokémon after Pokémon. Most of them, very friendly. Each one got easier than the last.

It seems that Mothim was the only trouble. Makes sense. He always had trouble facing bug Pokémon. And fighting Pokémon. He was super effective as a Psychic type, but he was never able to bring them down to their knees due to a Machoke or two knowing Knock Off.

But not even they could get his spirits down. He continued to hum to himself.

I hope I find something great! He thought as he went through a narrow path that only allowed for one Pokémon to go at a time.

He beat a Murkrow. Easy.

He one shots a Seviper. Not hard enough.

He continues onward, now gritting his teeth in anticipation. He could smell the rewards. He went even further in, almost fainting with one HP—he was still in it!

He defeated the Masquerain next turn, and continued.

Not much later, he found himself at the bottom. He saw the endpoint. There was nothing but a big room now.

He gasped in excitement as he ran closer. "Wow!" He breathed as he noticed the brilliant lights surrounding the end of the dungeon.

He heard buzzing behind him. "Pretty, isn't it?" A voice buzzed. It was female.

The Grumpig spun around, standing face to face with the very type he had a hard time with. He wasn't sure what to do. Was it friend or foe?

The Illumise giggled at his careful analysis. "Am I just that pretty?" She giggled. She seemed on edge.
