{Rework} Prologue

Before you continue, please keep in mind that this story will tackle some controversy and other events so be warned and in addition, the fanfic requires more work and planning than the previous version, so please bear with me if the updates are delayed. It just needs time and effort to consider, apply the desired moments and changes, and have good writing to post regularly. Because I'm working on this and another book while juggling school and my part-time job, the publishing schedule won't always be maintained but I try to at least post a chapter once every two weeks if I'm super busy. Also, the old chapter will still be accessible to you, readers, but in order to deferential the two, the reworked version will have a {Rework} on the chapter's title while the old version will remain unchanged. 

Even if it's a rework of my original book, the plot, characters, scenes, and events may be altered further, resulting in a similar premise but a somewhat different story from the original.

All he wanted was a holiday, somewhere to relax his mind and body from the stress of the outside world. He had been seeking an opportunity to spend a few weeks with his long-time friend Nash. A safe haven for him to de-stress as his life begins to unravel once more.

He had to confess that he hadn't intended to take a hiatus, but after hearing his roommate, Dan opened up about his health and how his behavior, temperament, and whole life had changed dramatically from his days as a YouTuber, doctor, and now boxer. He started realizing that he was right.

Mike, they see on their screen is not the same as the actual Mike. Mikhail and Dr. Mike are different individuals. How simply turning on a camera transforms him. He transforms into a phony and strangely overly enthusiastic version of himself, but he uses this as an excuse to hide the anguish and suffering he can't control.

He enjoys assisting others, and being a doctor and YouTuber allows him to do so... But, as with everything, there's a cost, and that's how his personal life became entangled with his professional life. Wishing to reclaim his former private life, but doing so will make the people he's trying to help, the people who need him, feel abandoned. Just picturing their faces and seeing the anger in their eyes as he abandoned them makes him sick.

Mike doesn't want to abandon people like someone special to him did a long time ago. The person that he thought was the one perfect for him. Made him feel special, and gave him hope that he was worthy of being loved. Boy was he a fool to think that. Cause when his mother passes away, the time where he needed him the most... Left him.

Now he's stuck in the middle... Uncertain what to do? People think he's smart and nothing bogs his mind but it's far from the truth...

Unveil the past that made him what he is today and who knows, perhaps he'll meet the ideal person to replace the hole in his heart.
