The Alpha's Obsession

Jimin pulled away and looked away from the elder's gaze, "Jeongguk," Jimin whispered, Jeongguk closed his eyes as he hummed in response, "You're not thinking straight" He said, the elder slowly opened his eyes as he met Jimin's beautiful orbs, "I am, darling," He said as he leaned in closer again, Jimin looked away avoiding Jeongguk's intense gaze. 

"You're drunk," Jimin said quietly "and you're saying it is-" 

"You don't have the right to tell me what I feel right now, Sang-Hoon, I love you. " Jeongguk said, Jimin looked at Jeongguk with a shocked expression. Sang-Hoon? Did he hear him right? "Jeon-" with that Jeongguk passed out in front of him.

Jimin had lots of questions, who was Sang-Hoon? This was the first question he had in mind, he went upstairs to Jeongguk's room and grabbed a pillow and comforters, he went back down and saw Jeongguk sleeping heavily on the carpet, and he sighed as he got closer to the older. He kneeled down and placed a pillow under his head and tucked him in, the omega doesn't do this to any alpha but, Jeongguk's different. He stroked Jeongguk's face and smiled gently, he got up and cleaned up their mess as he left the cabin without saying a word. 

A week had passed and neither of them talked to each other, Jimin would always make up excuses whenever Chenle visits him in his cabin telling him that Jeongguk wants to see him. Now, Jimin was picking flowers near the river, it was quiet and peaceful, he was in his own thoughts when he heard a voice right next to him. 

"Hey," Jimin practically jumped when he heard a voice, looked at the person, and tilted his head, he was familiar in Jimin's eyes, "It's Taehyung, Kim Taehyung," Jimin now knows who he is, Jeongguk's best friend and one of the most skilled alpha, to the brightest but he was one of the best. 

"I'm Jimin," Jimin said quietly, he was getting shy, the alpha was good-looking and he knows for a fact that every omega drooled over him, Taehyung chuckled, "I know who you are," Taehyung walked closer to him, he noticed Jimin holding a single daffodil "What are you even doing here all alone? You should be under Jin-hyung's care," 

"An omega like me can wander around whenever I want," Jimin said making Taehyung chuckle, this was the first time an omega wasn't trembling when speaking to him and it was such a wonderful feeling, It's hard talking to an omega around his age, Taehyung just hummed in response, "I see," Taehyung said staring straight at the wilderness, Jimin glanced at the older alpha, his side profile was the only thing he sees, and yet he was in awe. The alpha was handsome, and it was making his knees weak. 

"Why are you here all alone? Aren't you Jeongguk's omega?" Taehyung didn't glance at Jimin, but he felt two pairs of eyes looking at him, "I'm not," Jimin said quietly, "and I think he has an omega already" he said making Taehyung look at him, "What you talking about?" Taehyung frowned, "He mentioned someone named 'Sang-Hoon' when he was asleep," Taehyung just looked at the poor omega with a frown still in his eyes, "I should get you home now, Jimin," Taehyung said, avoiding the conversation. 

Jimin frowned and sighed, it is time to go home, the sun is already setting, he only nodded and extended his arms, Taehyung looked at him confused, "Hold my hand, I'm scared, I might get lost" Jimin said under his pout,  Taehyung just looked at him, confused. 

As he walked Jimin home they were stopped by a mad-looking Jeongguk, he was standing outside Jimin's cabin, yes, Jimin decided to get his own cabin, for his own privacy. Jeongguk looked at them blankly, Jimin looked at Taehyung and smiled at him, "Thank you for walking me home, Taehyungie" Taehyung just smiled and ruffled Jimin's locks, both male alpha's made eye contact, Taehyung turned to look at Jimin and smiled once again, "I had fun accompanying you," Jimin giggled, which made Jeongguk blood boil even more. 

"I had fun too, we can hang out soon if you want" 

"Of course, I'll come to you," Taehyung said before he left, Jimin ignored Jeongguk and made his way inside his cabin, Jimin wasn't being dramatic, he was trying to ignore Jeongguk because simply he had someone already, Jimin made his way to the kitchen making himself something to eat, he heard the door close, he felt two arms wrapped around his waist.

"I missed you," Jeongguk said, Jimin stayed silent trying to make his dinner, "Didn't you miss me too?" Jeongguk asked, but Jimin gave no response, "Jimin," Jeongguk said his name lowly making Jimin whimper silently. 

"I'm talking to you," Jeongguk lets go of his waist and made Jimin face him, "What's up with you? You've been ignoring me for the past week, you declined my dinner, you even make up excuses to not see me," Jeongguk's voice soften, "What's our problem, baby?" 

"Tell me, please" Jimin closed his eyes, "It's nothing, Jeongguk, I was just so busy about moving to my own cabin, I didn't have time, I'm sorry"  Jimin didn't precisely lie, he was busy moving to his own cabin, but that wasn't the only thing

"I understand," Was the only thing Jeongguk said, Jimin felt uncomfortable, Jeongguk has a lover and yet he's here with him, Jimin wants to be loved but not like this, he doesn't want to be the other man. "You should go home, Jeongguk," Jimin tried to remove Jeongguk's hand, but the older tighten his grip making Jimin close his eyes in annoyance. 

But, I just got here," He said as he buried his face in the crook of Jimin's neck, hugging him close, "You should really go," Jimin tried to ignore the sensation that he is feeling right now, he knows it was wrong but Jeongguk isn't making things any easier either. 

"Why are you shutting me out?" Jeongguk looked at him, "You said we're okay," Jimin looked at Jeongguk, being up close with this man is unbelievable, Jimin felt as if fireworks were inside of him, "We are okay," Jimin turned his back on Jeongguk and continued making food, "Do you really want me to go?" Jeongguk asked against his neck. 

No, stay.

"Yes," 

"Alright then," Jeongguk removed his hands around Jimin's waist, "I'll give you space for the meantime, but please don't shut me out whenever I check up on you, stardust," Jeongguk said lowly, Jimin knows Jeongguk would bug him if he refuses, so, he nodded. 

"I'll go now, baby," Jeongguk said as he kissed the back of Jimin's neck, Jimin didn't say anything when he heard the door close he took a deep breath and looked around, he noticed a small picnic basket on his kitchen counter with a pink bow on it, he looked at it confused, he didn't bring those. 

He looked closer and saw a note 'Eat well stardust and I'm sorry if I did anything that might upset you to ignore me the whole week, here's a little peace offering that might at least make you forgive me, Jeongguk<3' 

Jimin looked inside the basket, it was 2 chicken salad sandwiches, 2 tuna melts, sausage rolls, lemonade, lemon bars, and chocolate chip cookies, Jimin was touched by the kind gesture but that doesn't mean he'll fall for it, Jeongguk still has a lover named Sang-Hoon.

Hi, sorry for not updating^^ as you may know I'm from the Philippines and the election really bothered the hell out of me, it stressed me out when I heard the news about it. I'm still disappointed about the results:((
