The Alpha's Obsession

Jimin's POV 

As we entered the cabin once again, all I heard was gossip from the male alphas and omegas in the room, Jeongguk and I have always been quiet about everything that happened in the past, we didn't see each other after 2 years, for I was studying at my uncle's pack, communication was what we lack, the first time I saw him was when my father introduced him to me, it was quite nostalgic. 

Though we never really hang out that much in the past, because I, myself, was a minor back then, now, it was different, Jeongguk needs to have a mate before he turns 25, he has to go with the pack and hunt outside that's far from home, I even talked to him that when I leave, he should have been mated. I didn't know that he would kill his beloved omega, for some mere bet. 

"What are you thinking, omega?" Jeongguk whispered against my ear while holding me close to him, "Nothing," I looked at him, he doesn't seem to believe me, so, I rolled my eyes and laughed a little, "Just random thoughts, alpha," I tried to wiggle against his hold, but he just tightens his hold. 

"Jeongguk!" Namjoon called him making him turn towards his Hyung, that was my chance to remove his arms around me, "What is it?" he said walking closer to the group of boys, "Wanna get inked?" 

Jeongguk cocked his brows as he looked at me, I just shiver and looked somewhere else, "Inked?" Jeongguk chuckled "again?" 

"Why not?" Namjoon laughed "I have my whole arm inked Namjoon-Hyung," Jeongguk rolled his eyes as he pulled me closer to him again making me yelp, "It's going to be a chest tattoo," Jin said as he chuckled, Jeongguk cocked his brow as he tilted his head, "You're letting Namjoon-Hyung have tattoo's??" Jeongguk sounded shocked, and everyone laughed.

"He begged me last night to let him have a tattoo, so, a kind being I am, I let him," Jin said as he glared at Namjoon, "You too, Hoseok-Hyung?" 

"Yeah, I've been bugging him for a year now to get a tattoo! He just won't!" 

"I'm not going to ruin my silky white skin!" Yoongi fought back, I giggled at the sight, "What about you?" Jeongguk said making me look at him and blinked twice, noticing that he was looking at me as prey. 

"What about me?" I asked, trying to look somewhere else but him, "What do you think about me getting a new tattoo?" 

I looked at him as if he said something offensive, I could feel everyone looking at us, "What does getting a new tattoo have to do something with me?" I said as I looked at him from head to toe, "Do whatever you want, it's your body, I don't want to be involved with anything close to your body," I said as I tried to get away from his grasp, "But, I fucked you, and that was close to my body, you were close to my body," He whispered, and I know that everyone here heard. 

I rolled my eyes, "Fine, get one!" I said as he smiled making eye contact with his friends, "Now that you have an answer, will you please let me go?" I said annoyingly, he giggled cutely as he let go of my arms. 

'Now, he's acting like a different person'  

"Jimin, come sit here," Hoseok called me as he pats the seat beside him, I hesitated and sat beside him, he was in between me and Yoongi but I was in between him and Jeongguk, "Why are you so tense, sugar?" Jeongguk placed his hand on my thigh as I look at him, I pat his hand that was on my thigh and smiled, "It's nothing, I'm just not used to this kind of setup," I gave him a reassuring smile, he still looked worried, "It's fine, Kookie," I said with a giggle, "Okay, whatever you say, you're the boss after all," He laughs 

"Because I am," I said confidently, "Hey, don't get too cocky," He poked my side making me giggle. 

"So, when will you two get knotted?" Jin suddenly asked making me choke on my saliva, I felt eyes on me, and I glanced at Jeongguk, "We should get married first," Jeongguk rolled his eyes, "And stop blurting out shit, Hyung, it's not cool," Everyone giggled at what Jeongguk said but I noticed Taehyung being quiet who was sitting in front of Jeongguk. 

"We should be focusing on the case, not mating or marriage, this is what we came here for today," Taehyung's arms are crossed, I grinned, "Yeah, you guys really should focus on the case you  guys are handling," I said, Hoseok-hyung nudged me with his elbow and whispered, "You're interested in the case too?" He asked

"Of course!" I said, "It's interesting how everyone's curious about what's happening and now has the thought that they should fight for their lives," I said as I looked at Jeongguk, "Is that right, my love?" I asked, and he just nodded. 

As they discussed the case, I stayed silent.

Hearing their conspiracy theories and assumptions just want me to die in laughter, I tried not to laugh or react to what they were saying, I looked at Jeongguk who acting well, I tapped his shoulder and smiled lightly, and he looked at me confused. 

He offered me his ears as I whisper, "Your friends are stupid," I scrunched my nose, he looked at me and tried not to laugh, he mouthed an 'I know' and pinched my side, "We'll talk later," He said as he began to listen once again.
