Sick (part 28)

Dion's POV:

I go to the car after 8th period. Sebb isn't there yet, he is normally here before me. I get in the driver's seat and go on my phone waiting for Sebb.

A few minutes later the door opens and sebb hops in suddenly.

"Ahh, you scared me"

"Sorry" he says out of breath

"What took you so long?" I say driving out of the parking lot

"Oh nothing i just don't feel good" he replies

"Are you ok?"

"Yah it was probably just lunch I'll be fine" he says

"What do you want to do Tonight?" I ask

"I don't know" he says

"Do you have homework to do?" I ask putting my arm around his shoulder

"I don't know" he says looking down

"What hurts baby?" I ask

"My stomach just hurts " he says

"Ok we can just chill" i say

"Uhh.. i think I'm just gonna go home" he says

"Uh ok" i say " you shure?"

"Yah I'm just gonna go to bed" he says

"We can still hang out tomorrow?"

"Yah" he says

When I pull into my driveway he instantly grabs his stuff, gets out, and walks to his house.

"Bye babe love you" i yell to him

"Bye" he mumbles

I walk in to the house and go straight to my room. I lay on the bed and try to come up with a reason that Sebastian would be so upset. He seemed fine at lunch.

I end up falling asleep in my clothes without changing. I guess i needed my sleep.

I wake up and I'm in darkness. I check my phone and it's 4am i guess i have slept all i can sleep. I did after all fall asleep around 4pm.

I look out my window and i see a light inside Sebb's window. I get up and walk to my window. As i open it i feel a cold breeze.

I climb out onto the 2nd floor deck and make my way down the stairs into the yard. I walk around by the pool and into the front yard.

As i open the gate and step onto the driveway i see the light in Sebb's room go out. I sigh and turn around knowing he is going to bed now. As I'm walking back through the gate I see the light turn back on in the corner of my eye.

I turn back around and walk down the driveway and onto the street. I walk into Sebb's small yard. I make my way to the small shed under Sebb's window and climb on top of it.

I stand up and peek through the window, my head barely making over the trim. I open the window and pull myself up using the trim.

I put my legs onto the window sill and pull myself up onto the opening. He's watching me with amusement as i trip and fall head first into his room. I hit the ground with a thump and he laughs.

"Sooo...." I say getting up

"I can't fall asleep my stomach is still bothering me" he says

"I can't sleep either" i say grabbing his hand "come on"

"What?!" He says getting off the bed

He is still in his clothes. I lead him to the window. I let go of his hand and step up onto the trim. I jump out and land on the shed.

"Come on" i say turning around and holding my hands up towards him.

He steps up onto the window and takes a deep breath. He leans off the window and rushes twords me. I catch him under his armpits and lower him down to the roof of the shed.

We climb down and walk over to my house. I put in the gate password and we walk into the front yard. I lead Sebb to the staircase and we walk towards the third floor balcony.

As we pass my bedroom i feel Sebb stop. I look back at him and give him a smile.

"You want to go and stay inside bored as hell?"

"No" he says smiling

I lead him to the third floor balcony and we walk up to the "drop off". We call it that because there is a part of the balconies that have no railing so we can jump into the pool below.

We stop and lay down on the cold wood of the deck. Hand in hand we look up at the stars. I will always be there for him.

He gets up and pulls me to my feet. I stand up and look at him. I walk towards him and he steps back. He slips and falls off the balcony.

He puts his hand over his mouth to keep our cover. He hits the water in a pencil and I'm expecting him to come up gasping for air.

I wait a few seconds nothing... I get worried and dive in. I make a shallow dive to not hit the bottom. I open my eyes and i see his lifeless body sinking to the bottom.

I swim up to him and grab his waist. I come out of the water and he wakes up coughing and spitting up water. I pat his back and he coughs up more water. I hold him up and he falls onto my shoulder coughing up more water.

"Jesus Christ Sebb what did you swallow, a gallon?"

He whimpers and puts his hands around me. He begins to cry as i walk to the stairs out of the pool. I come out of the water still holding a crying Sebb and walk to a pool recliner.

I set him down and grab two towels. I quickly dry myself off and grab the other towel. As i wrap up a small whimpering boy his crying slows.

He looks at me whimpering. He begins to cry again.

"What baby?" I say picking him up.

He groans as i lift him up. He rests his head on my shoulder and groans again. As i pat his back he gags and throws up behind me.

"Jesus" i say turning around.

He threw up part whatever he ate for lunch . I pull his legs around my waist. He throws his arms around me holding me close like it is the last time.

By the time I get to the second floor balcony Sebb has already thrown up at least three more times. I decide to go through the sliding door instead of the window.

I open the sliding door and walk inside, Sebb is still silently crying while leaning on my shoulder. Just as i close the door i hear him gag again. I quickly lean forward so he comes off my shoulder and throws up on me instead of the nice floor.

"Eww" i say

He groans and falls back on to my shoulder. I walk to my room and into the bathroom. I lower Sebastian in front of the toilet and he groans again.

As i begin to walk out of the bathroom i feel Sebb's hands grab my pants and attempt to hold me back. I stop and turn around to look at him.He mumbles something, he sounds like a baby. I then crouch down behind him and hold him close.

I comfort him when he whines, I put him on my lap when he crys, I take off his wet clothes when he gets cold, I kiss his forehead when he has a fever, I pat his back when he gags, I give him water when he has nothing to puke up, I rub his stomach when he throws up, I play with his hair when he falls asleep in my arms, I keep myself happy when he wakes up from his sleep puking all over me, I wipe off the puke from his chest after he is done, and I carry my sick little boy to my bed after he falls asleep without waking up to get sick.

Everything seems perfect in those moments as i stay happy through everything my sick boyfriend throws at me. I stay happy when i realize I'm going to have to skip school tomorrow to stay home with him. I stay happy when i realize our first anniversary Sebastian is going to be sick out of his mind. I am happy when he sleeps through the rest of the night without waking up to get sick.

I'm gonna stay happy, stay happy for my sick little Sebb.
