Somewhere in the Ruby Palace garden the second last Airbender and the Avatar was meditating near a small lake, trying to counted to the spirts. Momo was also there trying to get his owners attention, since he wants a snack "Not now Momo" Aang said softly before petting his flying Lemur friend on the head "I'm trying to talk to one of the past Air Nomaid born Avatars to see if they know anything on Athy's mom."
It was bothering him since he met Athy, sure he was raised by the Monks but they at lest let him know some things about his birth parents both who lived in diffrent temples far away from the Southern Air Temple. When traveling with his friends after leaving the Southern Water Tribe, he asked Athanasia about her birth parents.
He learned about the Emperor, Athanasia birth father who denied the girl her birth rights and even tried to kill her without proper evedents of the crime. But whenever he asked about her Mother all Athy would say " All I know is that my mom's name was Diana, who was a beautful dancer who looked a lot like me but with Magenta eyes and came from a land called Siodonna, what my Nanny Lily told me. My father fell for her and she became his counubine but he abadonded her once she learn she was with child..... me, and she sadly died in childbirth."
From what he could find in the royal library he traced back both sides of Claude's family tree (even his mother's who was not of noble blod or states) and it didn't seem like their was any Air Nomaids nor benders in his bloodline.
His only hope now was trying to find a conaction to Diana threw the Avatar state, since Lily York told him that not even an hour after Athanasia's birth and the Ruby Palace Massacure, the Emperor order all her things and any record of her destroyed. "For the crime of naming Athanasia her name. An immortal name witch he was denied." the nanny told him with a bitter tone in her voice turning her glaring eyes at the Emperor's Palace in the destince.
As he went into the Avatar state, who asked his past lives for help, for an answer to his question "Did any of the Airbenders servived the masscure of my nation?" Aang then heard a soft laughed as a feminine voice said "No young Avatar, only you servived of our nation but decedents who didn't have bending lived on." Aang opened his eyes to see Avatar Yangchen, the last Air Nomad Avatar before him was in front of him, transulation but spirtally their with a blue glow around her.
