You, Kie and John B sat in a semi circle around a log, in old, stained, torn up lawn chairs, as you watched Pope and JJ play "Balance". The end goal of the game was the knock the other person off the log by only pushing their shoulders. They had played twice already today, each of them winning once, this game was to decide who the ultimate victor of the day was. They both kept balance well, neither of them leaning too far when being hit.

You all wanted to do different things, John B and Pope wanted to go surfing and fish a little for some drum. Kie wanted to cool off by swimming, considering the heat was blistering hot. You and JJ on the other hand seemed to be the only ones with no desire to leave John B's house today. All you felt like doing was lounging around with your friends for a while.

You weren't sure how you got to the topic of conversation your were on but you all were talking about hookups. Specifically drunkenly ones. You kept quiet knowing you had no stories to tell, hoping they wouldn't ask you anything. "Omg guys do you remember Veronica?" Kie asked the group with wide eyes. John B rolled his eyes before taking a swig of his beer. "Oh my god yes, she was OBSESSED with JJ." He reminded us. You let out snicker remembering how she'd come out to the chateau every day on the hunt to find him.

"Do y'all remember when she showed up that one time and just walked in saying she had to find JJ because he wouldn't pick up the phone?" You recalled with a laugh. All but JJ chuckled. "Yes, it was like 1AM and I was sleeping, y'all told her that and she said, "I don't believe you" and stormed into my room. God she was psycho." He took another shot at Pope shaking his head as he explained the events of that night.

"Ok but I also remember a guy named Oliver? If I recall he was absolutely Gaga about Pope." You pointed towards him. He rolled his eyes shooting you a crossed look. "I can't believe he thought I was gay!" Pope steamed. "I can." JJ joked shoving Popes shoulder again. Pope made a face at him, "then when I explain I'm STRAIGHT, He said, "give it time.". That's when I decided I was no longer talking to guys who have better fashion sense then Yn, while drunk." You all laughed again.

"What about you Yn? I've seen all the guys that swarm around you at parties. Any of them ever stick?" Kie asked gesturing to you with her bottle. You and JJ were best friends so he knew you didn't do any of that stuff. You both made eye contact for a split second. You could tell he knew this was touchy for you.

You looked down trying to decide if you should tell them truth or come up with some crazy lie so they wouldn't ask questions. "Um well, Easton." you offer to the group trying to get them off your back. "But he was your boyfriend, that doesn't count." Pope objected your answer.

"I met him at a party?" You explained hoping they'd let it go. "Oh cmon Yn. Your tryna say none of your drunk hookups ever went crazy over you? I don't believe it." John B doubted you. You didn't wanna lie to the group. "Actually I-" you looked up at them, seeing JJ with a tense jaw. "Actually Kie wasn't there that one guy? Fallon I think his name was." JJ shifted the focus off of you hoping they would drop it, seeing that you were uncomfortable. "Oh my god, he still texts me." She groaned.

You cleared your throat thankful for what JJ had done. Their voices were drowned out by you thinking to yourself. No one knew you were a virgin. You were sure JJ had the idea but you had never really talked about it. That was actually why you and your previous boyfriend broke up. You had dated for about a year and you still didn't feel right giving him that part of yourself, and he finally got sick of waiting.

JJ had given up on his game with Pope, hopping off the log. Pope sat on the log where he was and JJ, instead of taking the empty seat on the other side of John B, sat on your lap. You let out a huff wrapping your arm around his middle. You lifted the bottle of Budweiser to you lips taking a drink. Before you sat it down JJ reached for it prompting you to hand it to him giving him a drink.
