"okay. tomorrow, we'll be talking about sewage systems in king arthur's day. so, if i were you, i'd plan on eating a light lunch." mr moore says to the class as they leave, but he asked allie to stay behind.
miles was waiting by the door and watching. fayanna stayed behind to tease him.
"looks like you're no longer the fav. how sad." she comments.
miles rolls his eyes. "no, what's sad is your need to abbreviate almost every word in the english language."
allie walks out of the classroom and miles runs to her. "what did he want? are you in trouble? i don't want to be friends with a troublemaker."
allie laughs. "miles, are you finally admitting we're friends?"
"i admit nothing. just tell me what moore wanted."
"he just wanted to talk about the order of the bear."
miles gets annoyed. "wow. informal, post-class chit-chat. way to pull the teacher's pet spot out from underneath me. some friend you turned out to be."
fayanna scoffs. "wow, miles has a friend. who would have thought?"
miles glares at her. "don't you have a class to fail?"
"don't you have people to scare away?"
allie sighs and turns it to face them. "what is with you two? everytime you're together it's always an argument."
miles points to fayanna. "she copied off my test in third grade and got us in trouble, the only time i've been in trouble!"
fayanna throws her hands in the air. "i've explained a thousand times. my bracelet fell off and i was looking around for it."
"yeah right. coying off of me was going to be the only a you'll ever see."
"bye, you two." allie walks away.
"where are you going?" miles asks.
"don't leave me alone with him!" fayanna yells.
"the cafeteria. do you wanna come with me?" allie asks.
"okay." miles and fayanna both say, pushing eachother as they walk by.

second long on the 35. wagner fakes left under pressure. he throws deep to a wide-open benwick. he makes the catch. he breaks the tackle. i don't know how he kept his feet inbounds on that one. but he's still going. touchdown knights!
fayanna continues cheering and jumps up and down. she turns and hugs jen as the announcer says they won the game.
with a win over the last place crusaders next week, will wagner and his knights clinch a trip to the state championship.
will wagner and his go-to wide-receiver, lance benwick, have put on another clinic for us here tonight.
