Dream and HD had been dating for a few months now.
And Dream is very protective over HD.
Even if Dream is just an HD servant he still loves him.
HD has a soft heart for a God.

Dream got called to come to the HD office for something.
He knocked on the door and got an assuring come in.
He walked into a crying god.
''Oh, baby what happened'' Dream said sitting next to his boyfriend.
''I-am scared'' HD said hugging Dream.
Dream hugged back pulling HD on his lap.
''Hey is okay don't cry why are scared'' Dream said cupping HD's cheeks.
''H-he is coming back'' HD stuttered.
Dream know exactly who HD is talking about.
''When is he coming?'' Dream asked rubbing HD's cheek.
''Today afternoon'' HD said snuggling into Dream's neck.

HD had a hard past life since his dad was really abusive and aggressive.
So his dad end up in prison but was let out after many years of being there he was let out.
HD got this message from one of the guards.
And he got scared of him.
But with Dream he is safe.

''Darling he will not get you when I'm here'' Dream said picking HD up and carrying him to a room.
He placed the shorter male down and sat next to him.
''Can we cuddle'' HD said pulling Dream down and snuggling into Dream's side.
Dream chuckled and placed an arm around HD kissing his forehead.
HD smiled and placed his hand on Dream's chest.
Soon enough HD fell asleep.
Dream smiled sadly.
They got interrupted by a knock.
A guard came in'' Sir they're a visitor for HD''.
''Okay thank you may you call one guard to take care of HD while I'm gone'' Dream said standing up carefully.
Guard nodded.
Dream left the room and went down the stairs of the castle.
He wasn't surprised that he saw HD's dad Lucifer.
''Hello, Lucifer'' Dream said dead glaring atman.
''Oh, you again'' Lucifer said chuckling.
''Bitch don't disrespect me in my kingdom'' Dream said.
'' Your kingdom this is my son's kingdom '' Lucifer said losing his cool.
''Well, your son is my boyfriend or soon to be my husband so it is my kingdom too'' Dream said crossing his arms.
''WHAT HE WANT TO MARRY YOU!'' Lucifer scream as guards got ready to attack.
''Your son is scared of you after what you did you dumb bitch of a man'' Dreams said raising his voice.
''You have no respect young man'' Lucifer said.
''Oh, don't talk about respect after what you did to my partner'' Dream said yelling.
''I don't care about you I need my son right now'' Lucifer said walking closer to Dream.
''Don't come near me '' Dream said pulling his sword out.
''I WANT MY FUCKING SON'' Lucifer yelled.
''He won't talk to you'' Dream said pointing his sword at Lucifer.
''Dream?'' HD said walking towards Dream and his father.
''Darling come here'' Dream said pulling HD and holding him by the waist.
HD placed his hands on Dream's chest.
''Oh son my lovely son''Lucifer said changing his mood.
''Don't call me son you motherfucker'' HD said glaring at his father.
''Son please'' Lucifer said.
''I don't care guards take him to dungeon'' HD said loudly.
As guards took his dad to the dungeon.
HD turns around and hides his face in Dream's neck.
''Is okay darling he is locked away now'' Dream said putting his sword back.
HD smiled and kissed Dream gently.
''Thank you'' HD said giggling.
