"This is Damon Salvatore the incredibly irresistible 173 year old vampire, leave me a message."

The tears streaming down Elena Gilbert's face were continuous.

"You're alive! You're alive!"

She yelled into the phone.

"God, I knew it! I knew it! I told everyone and they called me crazy! But I knew it," she said through heavy and happy tears.

But then she stopped.

"Wh-why would you leave me?"

She was utterly heartbroken.

"You need to come back to me, I can't do this without you," she told him through a shaky breath.

"Every day I wake up and I suddenly forget how to breathe, or eat, I just can't do this."

She was correct, she was barely able to take care of herself anymore.

"You promised me you'd never leave me!" She grew angrier by the minute.

"You promised you'd make it back, and we'd live together forever! You lied!"

She knocked a bourbon glass off of the desk and it shattered on the ground. She collapsed on the couch.

"Why did you lie to me?" She mutters, barely a whisper. You can't even hear her.

"I can't do this."

She cleared her throat.

"You will come back for me, won't you? I will go with you, Damon. Anywhere you want to go, if Mystic Falls isn't where you want to be, I will go anywhere with you,"

She hesitates for a few moments, "I am utterly in love you, Damon Salvatore and I can't do this without you."

Then she hung up.
