Time skip to 20 years later, I moved cities and married a beautiful woman. It is currently June 8th and I am supposed to go to a restaurant with my 3 others pals. Surprisingly, I was the first one there, I've never really been in time in meet-ups so this was a first. By the door I saw my friends walk in, they looked around to find a spot but then they found me already in one. 'Wow, you're early! Big surprise, huh?' We all laughed 'Yeah, I'm not really known to be early in events.'. I noticed my buddy next to me, Dave, looking all sad. For some reason, this moment gave me some deja vu, same with the restaurant. Trying to ignore the feeling, I went to ask Dave 'What's up? You look sad, something happened?' Tears fell down his eyes. He went closer and closer to my ear, wanting to whisper something but kept stuttering at the first word.
He took some deep breaths, and he finally stopped stuttering. As quiet as he could, he whispered to me saying
'Do you know Candice?'
