Part 3 - Suprise?

Y/n pov

I woke up earlier then usual so Steve could drive me to stans to get my bike. I quickly throw on a shirt and some shorts snd get ready. After finishing up snd eating a bit of breakfast Steve drove me to stans house who was sitting on the porch.

"Hey stan!" I yelled getting out of the car. "Hey y/n!" He yelled back getting up and handing me my bike. "Be safe Im going to work bye y/n" Steve said driving away before I could say anything. I chuckled and grabbed my bike from Stan. "Shit flat tire" I said sighing. "Just hop on the back of mine I don't mind" Stan said smiling. "Well thank you Very much kind sir" I said laughing in a British accent. We started riding to school and arrived right in front of the losers.

"Damn y/n already found a boyfriend?" Richie laughed which nobody laughed at. "No, Stan was just being nice and riding me to school." I said chuckling. We walked into the school and I went over to my locker, surprisingly Eddie followed. "Y/n just to let you know bill did NOT look happy when you came with Stan" he said walking off.

"Huh?" I asked myself when I heard a voice behind me. "Well y/n whorington you already have a boyfriend and it's not even your third day in town?" Henry said smirking. "For starters no we aren't dating, but I really could pull someone faster then you" I said sarcastically smiling. "Which proves your a slut" henry said back. "A slut for your mom" I said chuckling. "Your a shit bag you know" he said with a serious face. "Listen Henry I know your mommy left you but did she ever teach you to make up your mind before she left? Like come on am I a slut or shit bag?". After saying that henry raised his hand about to punch me but. I grapped his hand and pulled him behind so he falls. "I do boxing and wrestling Henry so I'm only going to say this once." I got close to his face and said "don't fuck things up with me". I got up with my books and left smirking leaving Henry on the ground.

After a few classes it was lunch so I walked over to the lunch room and sat next to Eddie and Stan. "You know y/n I saw and heard everything with Henry." Eddie said as I chocked on my strawberry. "Wait what happened?" Bill and Stan said together. "Well y/n defended herself pretty fucking well from Henry, he tried hitting her and he ended up on the ground crying!" Eddie said while everyone smiled with shock and happiness mixed. "Damn y/n I didn't know you could be hot AND strong" Richie said laughing. "Shut your shit rich" I said half chuckling. The rest of the lunch was pretty normal, a lot of talking and laughing.

—-time skip two weeks later—-

Recently a lot has gone on. The normal stuff with the losers but my band mates have been missing for around a week or two and I've been searching for a while. Due to the band being gone I had nothing else to do in school so I signed up to be a cheerleader for the last day of school assembly. It wasn't that hard we only did dancing really. The losers were super supportive with what I've been having to go through. Maybe too supportive considering they come to every single practice for cheer. Either they wanna support me or just want to see me in a short skirt and crop top. Today is the last day of school AKA the assembly. When I got to school I immediately run to the locker room and change. The uniform was pretty, it was green and white and had white socks and shoes. The bow in my hair was held up with a half ponytail and I had light makeup on. I ran to the losers club who most looked in awe.

Bill started "y-you look" and both him snd stanly said "pretty" at the same time which made me blush. Why was I blushing? I don't like anyone. Except for- never mind. "I'm nervous it starts in an hour" I said shaking my hands. "Good thing they are letting us take our first period off. We can help you mentally prepare" Beverly said to me. "Now we must go and discuss some things, boys don't burn the place down". "Awe why can't we come?" Eddie sighed. "Because my lovely's this is girl talk." I said laughing and walking away with Beverly

—-outside on the swings with Beverly—-

"So? I have a question." Beverly states. "Go ahead".  "Do you like anybody?!" She yelled. "Geez bev quiet down! And maybe? I don't know if I still like him" I responded. "Oooh! Who is the lucky guy?" She asked laughing. "His name is mike. And by the way he looks exactly like Richie but without the glasses" I said. "From your old town I assume?" Which I nodded at. "Well I'll support you no matter what!" She said grabbing my hand and walking me to the gym. Me and my team practiced a bit for half an hour when we saw everybody come in. We ran into the halls which we would enter from. We listened from outside for our cue which we finally heard. "Now let's give it up for derry highs cheer team!" The principle yelled. We ran through the doors waving to everybody.

We started doing our dance and it was overall super fun. In the crowd I could see the losers cheering and looking down at me. Especially Richie, he was VERY enthusiastic about this. The time came were my team surronded me and kneeled down shaking their Pom poms towards me. This was my solo, the thing I dreaded for, I mean I had no idea why they picked me to do it, I'm pretty sure it's because Betty ribson the team leader has been missing. Surprisingly I did amazing and got several cheers from the crowd. The last part of the dance is where the football team came running in from each side and all stood in front of us facing us, to my suprise Jeremy, a kid that liked me for a while came in front of me and we did the second thing I was dreading. He picked me up and twirled me to the front. Luckily this also happened to the rest of the team so attention wasn't on me, well not everyone's attention. I noticed bill snd Stan looking down at me and Jeremy who were standing next to eachother. They both looked mad? With some sad? I couldn't tell why they looked like that but I just went on with things. Finally the assembly ended and we only had one more hour of school till it was over.

I noticed the losers running up to me qnd bill and Stan in front of the crowd except Jeremy ran towards me and hugged me "Hey y/n you did amazing today!" He enthusiastically said. "Thanks jer you too!" I replied. "You should go wash up but I'll see you later?" He replied with a nod and ran off. "J-j-Jeremy is s-smitten for y-you huh" bill said resting his hand on my shoulder. "Bill!" I yelled jumping into his arms. "Sorry just excited to see you guys." "And by the way Jeremy barely likes me" I said. "Yea sure he probably already fantasizes of you" Richie said making nobody laugh.
