Helping people was a superhero's job. It wasn't shocking per say when Stephen got a call for some help from a nearby children's school, although it wasn't him who usually does these things but since he was nearby and saw the alert on the watch Tony had given everyone, he decided to go in and help. 

As he stepped in, there weren't many signs of distress or none at all. He hummed curiously, looking around when a lady of around 60 walked in the hallway with a little girl right behind him.

"Are you Mr. Stephen?" the lady asked and Stephen nodded skeptically. The lady ushered him into the office close by, the little girl strolling in behind them. She sat in the corner, playing with the cloak while Stephen looked at the older lady questioningly. 

"I'm Susan Ryland, counsellor and CPS officer for the school." Stephen nodded, his brain fuzzy as to how he ended up here.

"Mr. Strange, uhm we received a confirmed news and documentation from the Little Wonders Orphanage that Stephanie here is related to you" she says and Stephen splutters.

"R-Related to me? H-How?" he asks, leaning forward on the table.

"Well it seems through the birth certificate and a few random letters that she is your daughter, do you happen to know anyone named Mary Winston?" Susan asks and Stephen's eyes widen as he nods slowly.

"Mary died during the birth, and since then the CPS has been trying to find any relatives that could help or take Stephanie in when we stumbled upon these hospital records" she says handing him the documents. He scans the papers, the name and physical features described matching the Mary he remembers. 

His heart aches as he watches the little girl play with the cloak. He clears his throat, swallowing the lump in his throat.

"Well Mr. Strange, we know your line of work is dangerous but according to rules its our duty to inform the immediate family. If you're not willing to do the child care for her we-"

"I'm taking her home." he declares, his own declaration sounded foreign on his tongue.

"Oh-alright, we'll keep coming to check up on her and send final reports to the head office. Once they approve it, you can officially give her your name" Susan says as they both approach Stephanie.

"Steph? hey" Susan smiles as Stephanie's big blue eyes looked at Stephen, tilting her head. Stephen smiles and looks at her.

"This is your daddy honey" she says and Stephanie's lips upturn into a wide grin at the word.

"DADDY!?" she stands on the couch, stumbling a little but Stephen's hands quickly stabilize her. He looks at Susan who smiles and steps back.

"What's your name daddy?" she asks as Stephen carefully lifts her up on his hip. Her arms wrap around his neck, legs swinging slightly. 

"My name's Stephen" he smiles.

"Our names are same too !" she squeals making Stephen chuckle. 

Stephen signs the documents that handed him full responsibility of Stephanie as Susan bids them farewell with a visit planned to check on the progress next weekend.

"I cannot believe this." Tony shook his head, rubbed his eyes furiously as he watched Strange sleeping on his bed, Stephanie sprawled on his chest as they both looked cozy under the blanket while Frozen played in the background. 

Nat snorts, while the rest silently 'awww' at the pair. 

"She sure has an effect on him doesn't she?"

"And she's been here for not more than four hours. I've been trying to get him to watch Frozen with me for the last month." Peter huffs while Steve shakes his head.

"Its because she's my daughter and also a little heartbreaker with those puppy eyes. Now if you all are done snooping let us sleep" Stephen says everyone panicking and rushing out of the doorway.
