(Anastasia's POV):
Today is the mock mission day, and after the dream I had last night, I'm nervous about what's to come. Gio and I have been getting closer.
Gio walks into my room with breakfast, and it's all my favourite food. "Hey, what's on your mind?" he asked me. "Nothing much", I told him and grabbed the tray from him.
"I can tell when something is on your mind, Anna; come on, tell me" he said as he sat down beside me on the bed.
"Ok fine, Gio, what are we now? Because all the feelings I pushed away for you are fighting their way back, I don't want to get hurt again" I told him.
"Anna, I never meant to hurt you, and I can promise you that it will never happen again" he told me. "Ok, but we still aren't official; you haven't asked me to be your girlfriend yet", I told him.
"I would be the happiest man alive if you would be my girlfriend Anastasia Russo?" he asked me, which caused me to blush, and I nodded.
He leaned in and kissed me, and started kissing my neck, which caused a moan to escape from me. "Amore (love), we will be late for the mock mission" I told him. "It's ok, Bella (beautiful), we are the ones in charge" he whispered into my ear, then started kissing me again. I missed his touch so much.
I then remembered the mock mission and pulled back and quickly got off the bed "later, we will continue this" I told him, then winked and ran to the bathroom. "Come on, Bella, don't tease me like that" I heard him say, which caused me to laugh.
(Giovanni's POV):
The first mock trial went well. Anna and I decided to ask Dante and Aurora to be the underbosses for each of our Mafias.
Dante and Aurora arrived a few minutes later, and we all went into the meeting room. "Ok, so we both have an important question to ask you both" Anna said.
"We wanted to ask you both if you would like to be each of our underbosses? So Dante would be mine, and Aurora would be Anna's" I told them. They both nodded their heads yes. Anna handed them both contracts for them to sign.
We all then decided to go out for lunch. We arrived at the restaurant, and then one of the waiters came over and took our orders.
After lunch, Anna and I went back to the warehouse since Anna had to attend training and Dante and Rory went to the movies.
(Anastasia's POV):
We arrived back at the warehouse, and I headed to the training area to see how the training of the recruits was going.
"Miss Russo, the next training session is knife throwing, and we have left that for you since you are the expert", one of the trainers told me.
"Alright, thank you" I tell him. I walk into the room and signal the trainers that they are free to leave if they want to. Some stayed, and some left.
"Hello, everyone. I'm Anastasia Russo. You probably know me as "The Devil". Today, I will be showing you how to throw a proper knife at your target. Pay attention carefully." I told them, and they all nodded and followed me to the targets.
"You always have to make sure your knives are balanced. Unbalanced blades will negatively impact how your knife will function once thrown." I told them and then showed them a few times how to hit the target, then let them practice.
The recruits were between the ages of 15-18. I never allow anyone younger than 15 to join my team because they are just little kids and deserve to live life and be with their families.
I then walked over to the empty chair and sat down, and watched them practice. A few hours later, Rory returned from her date with Dante and sat down next to me.
