(Anastasia's POV):
My parents are leaving for the States today, so I'm headed over to their house to say goodbye. It's been a while since my parents have left out of Italy so I'm going to miss them a lot. I then arrived at their house and joined everyone in the living room.
"So since we are leaving out of Italy, your mother and I have a new number and cell phones for safety and privacy purposes. I have texted you all from each phone, so please save those new numbers" my dad told my siblings and I. "We plan to be there for a month, but if anything comes up and we have to extend our stay, you all will be the first to be informed" My mom told us.
We all got up and headed out to the car. "Mom, Dad, I'm going to miss you both a lot" I told them as I hugged them. "We will miss you too amore" my mom told me. "Make sure you stay safe amore, don't get into any danger. If you feel unsafe or unsure about anything, tell Vincent, Giovanni or Dante," my dad told me. "Ok, dad, please stay safe, " I told my dad.
"Signor Russo, siamo in ritardo per l'aeroporto (Mr Russo, we are getting late for the airport)," the driver told my dad. My dad nodded, and we gave our last goodbyes, and they drove off.
I then texted the group chat with Rory, Gio, and Dante to see if anyone wanted to go to the club. They all said sure and would meet each other there.
I reached the club, went inside, and saw Gio by the bar. "Hey," he said as I sat down on the stool. "Hey, where are the recent love birds?" I asked him. He pointed to the dance floor where Rory and Dante were drunk and dancing. "Oh, hopefully those two don't get too drunk, or else they won't be fun to deal with on the way back home" I told Gio, and we both laughed. "Wait, I just realised you said love birds; you knew that they both have a thing for each other?" he asked me. "Yeah, Rory won't shut up about Dante and told me that I couldn't tell you, but oops" I said. "Dante is the same; he keeps talking about Rory and tells me not to tell you" he told me, which caused both of us to laugh.
"Want to go to the dance floor and join them? I think I have many drinks in me now to enjoy the night" I asked him. "Yeah, same" he told me, and we walked to the dance floor.
(Giovanni's POV):
Anna and I are dancing on the dance floor when a group of guys start to stare at Anna. They walk up to her and yell over the music, "Show us your tits" I instantly step in front of her, ready to defend her, but she pulls me back.
She could tell I was mad since she put her hand on my chest to calm me down. She then looks back at them and says, "If your so curious to see some, ask your sister, you fuckers" this caused them to go silent. I can't lie; that was hot; she's fantastic at defending herself.
"I love it when you stand up for yourself, Anna" I told her, pulling her closer to me. "And I love it that you let me" she said as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Am I falling in love with my best friend again?
"You know what I love about you?" I whispered into her ear, then bit her ear gently. I heard a slight moan escape her mouth; I then looked into her grey eyes and leaned in, doing what I've wanted to do since I came back.
(Aurora's POV):
We are all at the club; I decided to have a seat at the bar since I drank too much. I look around and see Gio and Anna making out. I'm so happy to know that they are starting on a clean path again. "Aww, Dante, look at them," I told him. "It's good to see their relaxed side," he said.
"I loved our dinner date Dante," I told him. "Me too, Rory. Do you want to go to the movies tomorrow?" he asked me. "Anywhere as long as it's with you" I told him, sat on his lap, and kissed him.
I feel a tap on my shoulder and see Gio and Anna. "You guys ready to leave, or are you still busy making out?" she said. "No, no, we can head out" I said and got off Dante's lap. I then went into Anna's car since I originally came with Dante.
"So, Anna, are you and Gio a thing now?" I asked her and saw her blush. "Idk, Rory, we only kissed, and I felt those same butterflies in my stomach again" she told me. "Anna, I suggest you both talk about it tomorrow and see how it goes, but don't push yourself into the relationship if you are not ready for it yet" I told her. "To be honest, Rory, I think I'm ready for a relationship as long as it's with Gio and with new beginnings," she told me.
"Ok, then talk to him about it and let me know how it goes. Also, tomorrow I'm going to the movies with Dante," I told her with a smile. "Rory, I'm so happy for you! But know this, if he messes anything up, I don't care if he's also my friend; I will injure him" she told me as we pulled up to my house. "Thanks, Anna; I'll text you tomorrow. Good luck!" I told her and then left the car.
(Anastasia's POV):
While I was driving back home, I got a text from Vinnie stating that we would have our first mock mission tomorrow. I then got home, went to my room, changed into my pjs and brushed my teeth. After that, I got into my bed and tried to sleep, but the mock mission and my parents not being here for it was running through my mind.
I decided to text Gio to see if he was awake, which he was, and I asked him if he could facetime. "Hey, Anna, what's up? Is everything ok?" he asked. "Yea, Gio, I'm just worried about tomorrow's mock mission, " I told him. "Don't be Anna; if you want, I can come over for the night, and we can go to the warehouse together tomorrow?" he asked me. "If you don't mind..." I told him. "Anna, I would never mind; I also need to talk to you about something" he told me. "All right, I'll see you in a bit" I told him and ended the call.
About 30 minutes later, I hear a knock on the door. I get out of my bed and put a robe on. "Who is it?" I asked, walking close to the door. "It's me, Gio" I hear from the other side of the door. I then open the door, and Gio walks in. "Hey, so if you want, we can watch a movie?" he asked me. "Yeah, sure" I told him. I walked back to my room while Gio followed me. We both got into bed, and I put on a movie on Netflix. I started to feel sleepy and laid down on Gio's chest and fell asleep.
(Giovanni's POV):
After a few minutes, I look down and see Anna fall asleep. I run my hand through her brunette, long hair. I lowered the volume of the movie so she could sleep. I then decided to fall asleep as well.
I suddenly hear Anna scream; I sit up and see her in tears. "Anna, what happened?" I asked her. "I had a nightmare related to the mission, and Nico did something terrible before our attack, but I woke up before I could see what he did" she said with tears streaming down her face. I took my thumb and wiped her tears. "Look at me; I'm right here, don't stress about it" I told her then pulled her closer and ran my hand through her hair. "Get some rest; I'll be right here when you wake up" I told her, and she nodded and closed her eyes.
