A month later :-
It's a normal day for jungkook as always . He got up from his sleep , got ready and went out not before leaving a message to his taehyung hyung telling him that he got up and is going to the company now .
It's been a month since their date and ever since that day jungkook is feeling a lot more different than usual . His assumptions , questions and doubts got cleared by taehyung one by one unknowingly . He is feeling happy that he chose taehyung for him cause why not , that man makes him feel like the most delicate piece of a glass which can be broken if not handled with care . They met a lot of times in this past one month and got to know each other better than before . Jungkook now knows that his heart and his body trusts taehyung alot and he is happy about it . Cause for him taehyung is like a shinning star and he himself is his expensive diamond .
Jungkook went to the hospital as usual . He is feeling a little too uneasy for today and he has no idea why . He steps inside the building and the gloomy atmosphere inside makes him feel a lot restless than he already is . As he steps closer to his mother's room , his anxiety just peaks up bit by bit . He stops in front of the closed door and takes in a deep breath before twisting the door knob . The moment he steps in , he feels like the world slipped from under his feet .
There his beloved mom , his moon is lying unconscious with I/v lines attached to her body , an orangish liquid being delivered to her body by the i/v lines . His eyes get teary as he steps back a bit . What even happened to her , she was fine till yesterday night , he thinks as he turns around on his heels ready to go to the doctor but stops right away when the doctor himself approaches him .
Hello jungkook , the doctor says in a small yet sweet voice .
What happened to her hyung ? He asks while looking at him with hopeful eyes who just keeps silent making his anxiety grow even more .
Please tell me hyung . What happened to my moon ? He asks now with a slight raised voice as tears start flowing down his face .
You need to gather yourself first kook , come with me , the doctor says as he pats his shoulder first then takes a hold of his hand dragging him towards his cabin .
The doctor makes jungkook sit on the couch in his cabin and he himself sits down beside him and says ,
First of all she is doing fine now , jungkook sighs , she got an attack of schizophrenia yesterday night around 3 am . She was behaving violently while blabbering nonsense so we had to give her sedation . We did a CT brain of hers this morning and reports are not so good , jungkook just hears everything with his head hung low and tears continuosly running down his cheeks . The doctor puts his hand on his shoulder in a consoling way as he continues , according to reports , her tumor has climbed up two more stages and I am afraid to say this but we don't have the cure of this stage here . You need to shift her to a brain speciality hospital , jungkook just keeps looking down . It feels like his throat lost it's capacity to talk while those tears never stop streaming down .
Think about it jungkook . For now she is fine , jungkook just nods as the doctor goes out leaving the boy to have his time . Jungkook sits there crying his heart out now with hiccups as he buries his face in his palms soaking it wet .
After a good 10 minutes , he stands up and goes to her room with shaky legs . He knows his heart is so weak to see his one and only lady , his eomma , his moon in that state but he also knows that his moon has not raised him to be weak in such situations . He is her strongest brightest star and he needs to stay like that only .
He sits beside her wiping his tears as he takes her hand in his . Staring at her face , he feels his heart aching more and more with each second passing . There is no movement , no smile , no shine , no glow , no usual goofy voice of hers that always fills his ears and makes his heart at ease . She is resting , all calm and away from the world unaware of the heart that is breaking down piece by piece in her son's chest .
Why moon , just why ? He questions in a small voice as his tears now drench on her hand .
I am so weak when it comes to you , you know that right , then why is it happening to me ? He cries and cries while holding her hand tightly . His head yearning for at least a single Pat from her but that never came .
After crying for what seems like eternity , jungkook looks up and wipes his tears as he eyes her unconscious state before saying ,
I don't care how much money it costs , I am gonna shift you to the speciality hospital soon , just stay strong moon , for me please , he says as he kisses her back of hand first then her forehead before standing up .
He walks out of the room , softly closing the door behind him and turns around only to bump into someone . He hiss and rubs his head before looking up to meet the pair of eyes he grew fond of in the last one month .
Hyung, he mumbles but taehyung just looks at him with worried eyes .
What are you doing here ? Jungkook asks trying to get away from in between taehyung's well built body and the door .
Is everything alright baby ? Taehyung asks softly to which jungkook hums while looking down . Taehyung cups his cheeks in his hand making him look up ,
Look at me love , jungkook looks at taehyung , I was waiting for you outside bighit since last 2 hours , I thought I could meet you there but you never came then I thought that I can find you here for sure that's why I am here but why are you crying ? Tears again well up in his eyes making taehyung panic .He takes a hold of jungkook's hand and makes him walk out of the hospital and towards his car . Taehyung makes jungkook sit in the back seat as he himself sits beside him .
Now tell me , jungkook nods and tells taehyung everything from the start who hears everything attentively . His hand stroking jungkook's hand softly in order to provide him some comfort .
Let's shift her there then , is the only thing taehyung says before he looks at jungkook who is now looking at him with puppy lost eyes .
I don't have enough money tae , but I'll work hard , taehyung rolls his eyes at that .
You don't have to worry about the money love . I am here for you and one more thing that hospital is far away from here so you will move in with me , jungkook looks at him with wide eyes .
No tae , I can't , taehyung doesn't hear anything . He simply pulls jungkook onto his lap startling the boy as he says ,
I said what I said beautiful , Now have some sleep , he makes jungkook rest his head on his chest while rocking him side to side as he lulls him to sleep .
Jungkook falls asleep instantly , how can he not when the other's scent is calming his senses down while his aura is emitting that honey , cozy vibes just for him .
