Gia's pov•
I wake up early only to remember once again I fell asleep in Alex's arms, I looked over smiling to the others thinking they were asleep, turns out Melman & Gloria were asleep but Marty was staring at me smiling, as in "ooooooohh how adorable" it was quite funny actually, then Alex woke up, looked down at me and after a while he released me then we went all traveled to the next carriage to get some breakfast.
After breakfast we all set up for practise today, Alex and I started setting up the trapeze. After we finished we started to climb up the ladders and we were both on the platform, I grabbed a swing and he grabbed a swing and we both swung and jumped from swing to swing, after a while I got tired and decided to sit on the platform and so did Alex, we we're just talking about stuff, like how much Vitaly loosened up, and such. After about half an hour of talking we both decided to get back to practise. It was like a date but it wasn't a date "date" at one point Alex was swinging towards me and I was swinging towards Alex I kinda slipped and started falling towards the net again but this time I had been shot be a dart, and when Alex caught me I blabbered out "thanks Alex, you don't know how much I love you!" Big mistake, last thing I remember was Alex putting me down and looking around for someone/thing who shot the dart. What he saw scared him a lot, it was several human men with guns, aka 'poachers'
Alex's pov•
As I saw the men aiming to shoot Gia I grabbed her and ran inside, with her blabbing on about weird things I didn't care about right now. I ran back out and told the penguins to get the train going and everyone to board.
Gia's pov•
I woke up screaming only to find Alex and Gloria standing above me. I had the most messed up dream I announce, I was shot with another dart and fell off the trapeze I said. "Umm honey, that wasn't a dream." Gloria says. Oh great so I've probably broken an arm or something. "But don't worry Alex caught you so you didn't brake any bones!" Gloria said really happily. Awwwwww I blabbered out something's I probably shouldn't have right then. "Oh yeah I remember that" I say kinda quiet. "We'll I've gotta go practise, bye bye sweethearts!" Gloria said giving Alex and I hugs, man she was strong. "Um Gia are you okay?" Alex asks, "yeah I'm fine." I say quickly. "Okay that good" He says kinda nervous. "Alex what's wrong?" I ask, "oh umm after I caught you and jumped onto the net below I was kinda looking around to what shot you and I kinda um" he started hesitating "um I saw people..... But I don't think they just randomly shot you, they were trying to take you...." He said going quiet. My heart sunk to my stomach, they were poachers. "What, why" I say really quietly. "I don't know but we aren't going to let the get you okay?" Alex said pulling me into a hug. I just started to cry on his shoulder, I have so much going on, my friends were amazing my crush was awesome, I was only 5, I finally learnt trapeze. 'What if they got me?' Kept running through my mind.
