Falling - chapter 2

Gia's pov•

Today was a brand new day I woke up, not realising where I was at first until I remembered I was still in Alex's arms, I smiled at that thought and looked up to see Alex had just woken up too. I still had the warm fuzzy feeling inside me. But I was really excited to get up because today and tomorrow our circus has to practise for the whole day, basically that meant more time with Alex and, my thoughts where interrupted by Alex "Gia, are you listening?" "Umm, sorry what?" I replied because apparently he was trying to talk to me but I was in my own world. "What time do you wanna start practise today?" Alex asked me "as soon as everyone's up" I replied, stupid me. I looked over to the triplets and the triplets looked like they where already ready except for Esmeralda, she was to lousiest and the craziest, that probably why Marty liked her, after all she was also the cutest.

After everyone was up, Alex and I went over to the trapeze. I don't know why but I was really excited, and I was lost in thought like 60% of the morning so far. As soon as Alex got up on the platform, he jumped on a swing and was doing flips everywhere, I was watching him doing his amazingness whilst I was trying to reach a swing until I realised I walked off the platform and I was falling onto the ground, where there was no net. "Aghhhh!!!" I scream as I'm falling, I look around for Alex but I can't see him, I'm still screaming and now I'm only about 30 meters off the ground and then someone swoops past me and grabs my hands, I look up to see Alex. "Got ya!" He said really happy because he's usually the one that's falling. He jumped onto a platform with me, "oh my gosh are you hurt?! What happened?!" Alex was asking really concerned. "I'm fine I was just overthinking and I kinda wasn't watching where I was going" I replied kinda shaken up from what happened. "Okay, that's good that your not hurt. Just try to know what your doing next time" Alex said as he embraced me into a hug.

After about an hour of watching because I needed to stop thinking so much I decided to go for a walk, I told Alex I would go for a walk, more like yelled but Alex said he'll join me in a little while. I wondered off into the woods, just exploring cause i had so much going on I'm my head. I ended up at a lake and then I just look out at the horizon but of course it wasn't sunset after all it was like 10 am in the morning, we'll I'm looking until I hear so sticks brake behind me, only to see Alex, he comes and sits next to me. "So what's on your mind?" He asked me, "I don't know, just someone" I spoke, "who?! Tell me please!" He said really excited thinking it was someone else, "why don't you tell me who you like?" I kinda snapped at Alex. "um well.. I don't think she likes me back and yeah so um" he said shaking. "See, it's hard to tell me isn't it?" I said. "We'll I would tell her but.." "But...??" I asked curious on what he was gonna say. "She'd be lucky" I accidentally say, instantly covering my mouth. "What OMG?!" Alex replied really happily until he finally calmed down again. It was dead silent for about 5 minutes before I decided to brake it, "I heard you and Marty talking last night" I say. "Oh you, ugh you heard that?" Alex replied embarrassed until I grabbed his collar (we'll in this case fur) and I pulled him closer like I did with the hoola hoop, "don't worry, I feel the same" I said. his smile lit up so much it was so cute until I realised that I had to get back to practise, this time on the bars we were talking non stop, we swung from bar to bar he'd grab my arms and I'd grab his and we would pretty much be in convo until it was about 4:00pm everyone was packing up until I'm on the net and her shot with a tranquilliser dart, and passed out.
