You had been thinking about that dream Selena had last night, it was so strange, what did it mean?... But you had decided not to think about it now, you were on the road with the rest of the band, you and Selena by yourselves in the lounge room, sitting next to each other "Y/n?" Selena asked, you looked down at her. "Yes?"
"Where do you go when we're not on the road? You never tell us where you are when you call." She played with your hair, twirling it around her finger and placing a soft kiss onto your cheek. "Well- -" You began, returning the kiss to her nose, she giggled. "I go home, i found a place not too long after I moved out from your house. I'm always grateful that Abraham took me in of course."
"You live alone?" She asked, "No baby, I live with Chris, his mother and stepfather" She jolted at the sentence, "Y/n you've been living with another man and haven't told me?" Selena whacked you in the shoulder,. "That's not funny!" She huffed. You laughed
Selena adored you so much and feared someone else would win your heart, but she never brought it up "You're lucky I love you, dummy!" She cooed, "I love you so much~" she pulled you into a hug and kissed your cheek. "I can't wait to tell dad about us..once everyone knows we love each other I'm gonna spoil you, buy you expensive clothes and shoes, and make sure you're always fed." Selena slightly puffed out her chest with pride, she knew she would treat you good. "Oh is that so?" You implied and snuggled against her. You buried your face into her chest, dozing off in her embrace.
And you both stayed like that for a while, until the bus came to a stop. You jolted awake as you heard heavy footsteps booming to the back of the bus. You hear Selena gulp and you tried to rip yourself out of her arms, but she insisted you stay, she wasn't afraid or shamed of you.
Suddenly, Abraham slid into the door. His face flushed with anger. "I knew it!" He snarled, glaring hard at us, Selena held onto you tightly. "This, the two of ends. Now!" He yelled, his voice practically shaking the bus. Everyone had fled and waited outside. "Dad, we were going to tell you." Selena tried to stay calm, Abraham began to lash out, you flinched and Selena got up from behind you and stood up from her seat. Facing her father and protecting you from whatever he wanted to say.
"I don't care! I don't want you two together! This is beyond wrong! You know this Selena, she is a woman and you're a woman!. And you!" His eyes darted towards you, he gripped your shirt collar and lifted you up. "Your father would be disappointed in what you have become! He would never approve of such behavior and you are nothing like him at all!" He shouted, Selena became infuriated and appalled at her fathers reckless behavior, she wasn't about to stand by and let him touch you. "Dad! Let her go! Don't you dare talk to her that way! And don't speak of her father either! GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER!" Selena grabbed his wrists firmly and parted the two of you. You backed up, trembling with fear and sadness. His words cut your heart like a knife.
You ran off of the bus and didn't stop, you could just barely hear Selena yelling your name. As you jolted away, Chris stopped you, grabbing your shoulders. "Y/n, whats going on?!" He asked worriedly. You shoved him off and broke free and continued to run. "Y/n!"
