Taehyung walked to the back of the mall and saw Lisa, drinking water while Jimin was beside her.
"Lisa.." Taehyung came and hugged her tightly. "Are you okay? Did they do anything to you?" He asked looking at her from heel to head to make sure that she was okay.
"I'm okay." Lisa said laying her head on his chest. Taehyung wrapped his arms around her.
"Thank you, Jimin." He looked at his bestfriend standing beside them.
"It's okay, bro." Jimin patted his shoulders, "You take her safely home. I will kill his men." Jimin said and left from there.
"Lisa, can you walk?" He asked and she nodded. "Then come. We have to escape from here as soon as possible." Taehyung said and entangled his hand with her's. "Come.." They walked through the back alley.
After walking for some time, they stopped. Taehyung looked at Lisa, who was breathing heavily. He felt sad for putting her into such a condition.
While they were peacefully sitting there, they heard a gun shot. Taehyung was quickly alerted. He took out his gun and stood in front of Lisa, protecting her. Lisa was also scared, she hid behind Taehyung, holding on to his hand.
"Hello, Taehyung. Remember me?" They heard a voice from behind. Taehyung quickly turned around.
"James?" He slowly whispered. James was the enemy of Max and Taehyung. He also wanted what Taehyung has. But her didn't dare to fight with Taehyung. When he heard about Max's plan, he came here to kill Max and take it all from him. When he reached at the mall, he saw that Max was dead and the agreement unsigned. He quickly went from there and traced Taehyung's location to find him.
Taehyung didn't wanted to have a conversation with him. All he wanted was to make Lisa safe from everything. "Lisa..Run." he slowly whispered and both of them ran through the small path.
"Follow them." James ordered his men and sat on his car and drove off.
Taehyung and Lisa ran through the dark paths with James's men following them. Taehyung held Lisa's hand to make sure that she was with him. "This way, Lisa." He took a sharp turn to the left. The men followed him was confused. They didn't see where he went, so they ran straight.
Taehyung and Lisa was now hiding behind a rack of boxes. They were sitting down with his hands around her shoulders and waist. He sighed in relief when he saw the men had left. His eyes quickly went to Lisa, who was sitting beside him. "Are you hurt?" He asked when he saw blood on her leg.
"It's okay. I'm fine." Lisa looked up to meet Taehyung's gaze. That's when they realised how close they were. His glance switched from her eyes and lips. Taehyung slowly leaned in closer. Both of their hearts started beating faster than ever. Their breathe fanning on each other's face. Lisa closed her eyes expecting him to kiss her. He pressed his lips on her's when he understood that she was willing to kiss. Their lips moved in synchronisation. Lisa ignored the hatred she had for him and let her love in her heart for him overpower her. That was the first time they kissed after a long period of time.
He kissed her, pouring out all the love he had for her whole and she replied to him without any objection. He slowly bit and sucked her lips. His hands snaked around her waist, holding her tight. Her hands surrounded his neck, holding tightly on the fabric of his clothes.
They broke the kiss when they heard footsteps. "Come, Lisa. It's not safe in here." He tooke her hand in his and walked from there.
Taehyung looked around to make sure the path was clear. He took out his phone from his pocket and called Jimin.
After a few rings he picked up the call, "Jimin, James is here." Taehyung informed.
"That bastard is back? Where are you now?" Jimin asked.
"I don't know. James's men are following us now." Taehyung informed.
"I'm coming there." Jimin said and ended the call.
Taehyung put the phone back in his pocket and started walking away from the place.
He stopped and his eyes darkened when he saw two of James's in front of them. They had knife in their hands. Taehyung stood infront of Lisa.
One man ran to him pointing the knife. But Taehyung quickly reflexed and held his arms tightly, making him wince in pain and dropped the knife. Seeing this the other man ran towards him. But Taehyung punched and kicked him down. He picked up the knife from the ground and stabbed both of them.
Lisa, who was watching all of this was terrified. Taehyung wiped of the blood in his collars and held Lisa's hand, "We need to escape from here as soon as possible." He was about to walk but Lisa grabbed his arm and pulled him back. Taehyung looked confused about her actions.
"Do you still love me, Tae?" She asked with heavy voice.
"It's not the right time to answer your question Lisa. Let's go." He avoided her question and held her hand. But she jerked it away.
"I'm not coming with you until you give me an answer." Lisa was persistent now. She was silent all this time. Now she wanted to know if she still has a slightest chance to love him back, "Do you still love me?" She repeated.
"I have never stopped loving you. From the day I met you, till today, you were the only one in my heart. I tried to get over you, but I can't. " Taehyung honestly replied.
They both stood in the centre of the road, in the dark night, staring at each other with their hands entangled. Their eyes communicated many feelings which weren't vocal.
Their trance was broken when they heard more footsteps. Lisa was still staring at him. While Taehyung noticed James's men coming. They pointed the gun at Lisa. But she was not knowing any of these. Her mind was somewhere else, still processing his words and her feelings.
The gun was fired. In a swift motion, Taehyung stood in front of Lisa and the bullet directly hit his chest. "Ahhh.." He fell to the ground holding his chest.
Lisa broke out from the trance. Her eyes widened seeing Taehyung on the ground with bloody clothes. "TAE.." She screamed and bended down, taking his head in her lap.
Jimin and rest of the Taehyung's ang members have already reached there and started fighting with James's men.
"Tae..Are you okay?" Lisa worriedly asked, her eyes filled with tears. She cupped his face in her hands, "You're gonna be okay. Breathe..It's fine. You're okay." Lisa panicked as she tried to save him. Tears were flowing continuously.
Taehyung smiled seeing the worry and care Lisa had for him. "I love you." He whispered with a faint smile knowing that he wouldn't hear it back.
Lisa stared at his eyes, which were also teary. "I love you too." She didn't hesitated to say it back. "I love you too, Taehyung. Please be okay for me. I forgive you. We can still be together and live happily. I'm scared. Please don't leave me, Tae. I love you so much. Please stay with me." She cried. Her heart broke when she saw him like that. He was ready to give his life to save her's.
"Am I finally a hero?" Taehyung joked to lighten the mood and to make Lisa smile, "I wish to stay longer with you." He spoke sincerely.
Lisa was crying more hardly now, "I need you, Tae.." She sobbed. Taehyung smiled and gently wiped her tears with his thumb. With that, he closed his eyes.
