Lisa woke up with a heavy headache. The pain was killing her. She opened her eyes and sat on the bed. That's when she realised it was not her bedroom. She quickly jumped from the bed and looked around. The surroundings seemed familiar to her.
"Good morning, baby." She heard a deep dark voice from behind. She knew whose voice was that.
Silently praying in her mind that it's not him, she turned around and looked at him. As soon as she caught a sight of him, her eyes darkened.
Kim Taehyung.
The cruelest mafia, Kim Taehyung, was standing there, smirking at her.
Lisa felt like she was about to faint. He was the last person she wish to see.
"I missed you, baby." He walked closer towards her and embraced her.
"Don't touch me." She yelled and pushed him.
"Come on. Admit that you love my touch. You were not like this before." Taehyung said and took a step closer.
"Don't you dare to come near me. I hate you, Taehyung. I hate you." She yelled. Her eyes swelled up with tears. All the past memories rushed to her mind. Her heart shattered, again.
"Oh Lisa, You don't hate me. Somewhere, deep down, in that beautiful heart of yours, there's a part of me that you still loves and cares." He said.
Truth always sucks..
"Why did you bring me here? I want to go back home." Lisa asked looking straight in his dark eyes.
"This was your home, Lisa. And this will be your home. You're gonna stay here from today onwards. " He spoke reminiscing the good memories both of them created in that mansion.
"What right do you have to make me stay here?" Lisa shouted fiercely.
"I am your husband, Kim Lalisa." He shouted back more loudly.
"You were." She said holding back her tears.
"We are not legally separated, Lisa. I'm still your husband and you are my wife." Taehyung spoke emphasizing 'wife'.
Lisa tried not to cry while the past hit her, "I will not stay here. I'm going back home." She was about to walk away but Taehyung grabbed her wrist and stopped her.
"Do you think I will let go of you that easily?" He smirked and leaned closer to her, "Baby, I have assigned security guards all around the mansion to make sure that you won't escape." He whispered in her ear and leaned back after pecking her earlobe.
"Just let me go, you bastard. I don't wanna stay here. I don't want to see you." Lisa pushed him away and cried.
"Stay with me, Lisa. It's all for your own safety." He spoke with a serious tone.
"I won't " She stubbornly replied.
"You will, if I hurt your bestfriend." He threatened. Seeing the fear in her eyes, he was satisfied.
"Don't drag her into this. She have nothing to do with you. She is innocent." She yelled at him.
"Then don't try to escape from here. If you try to, I'll make sure that your bestfriend is dead." He smirked.
"Taehyung, please don't hurt her. I will do whatever you say. Please don't kill Chaeyoung." Lisa fell to her knees and begged to him.
Taehyung felt sad seeing her like this. He stepped closer to her and made her stand up, "I won't do anything your friend if you obey me and stay here." He caressed her hairs and made her look at him.
"I love you, Lisa.." He slowly whispered, looking at her with a lot of love and affection in his eyes.
"I'm not gonna say it back." She looked at him with hateful eyes. It did hurt Taehyung.
"I didn't say I love you to hear it back. I said to make sure you knew it." He looked deep in her eyes, his hand cupped her cheeks. He leaned in and his gaze switched between her eyes and lips.
Before he could kiss her, Lisa pushed him away, "I'm not gonna kiss you. You broke my heart." She said with hurtful tone.
Taehyung looked into her eyes and nodded, understanding her. He walked out of the room angrily and slammed the door shut loud.
Lisa fell on the floor, crying. The things which she was trying to forget was prickling in her heart like needles. It hurted so much. Her past and him still haunted her.
He was a beautiful mistake she made. Loving him only brought her pain. He broke her heart into pieces and she still loves him with all those pieces, even though she hated to admit it.
For him, she was light. The only one he loved with all his heart and still does. She broke him too. He still loves her, knowing that she hates him. His heart will only bleed for loving her.
All broken heart is a small price to pay when you're not the one who has to pay... They broke each other's heart by loving each other.
