ONE YEAR LATER
"Good morning! I would like to have 2 blueberry muffins and 3 garlic bread, please." The old man with a warm smile is his first customer for today. And he is also his regular customer.
"Coming right up, Mr. Jones!" Harry replies cheerfully to his sweet neighbor.
"So have you already decided to agree to my offer?"
Harry giggles when he remembers what the old man told him the other day. That he is willing to be the father of Scarlett and be his boyfriend but they need to keep it a secret from his wife.
After he packed his order, he smiled at the old man. "I would love to Mr. Jones but I'm not good at hiding secrets, so I have to decline."
The old man pouted. "Suit yourself, it's your loss." He said and give Harry a wink before leaving his bakeshop.
"Take care!" He smiled.
He went back to the kitchen where his two employees were busy making some pastry. He took off his apron and went upstairs where his house is located. His twenty years old nanny opened the door.
"Is she already sleeping?"
" Yes, and she's still wearing the dress."
They giggled. "Thanks for today, Cindy."
"No problem."
He quickly took a shower and prepared Scarlett's milk. He will be doing some groceries later after she wakes up. For now, he needs to write the things that he only needs. Doing a tight budget every day was a challenge at first. Especially when he never experienced doing the things that normal people would do, like cleaning the house, doing groceries, etc. It was all new to him. But he was determined to learn everything because this is the only way he will survive. It was not easy, but he did everything he could to change for the sake of his daughter. He also changes some of his images. He cut his hair and remove some of his tattoos, he also quit smoking. He left his old self in New York and change his life for the better.
After he left New York, he decided to go back to his parents home town, which is in the UK. He renovate their old house and decided to build a two stories building, where he can put a bakeshop and a house at the same time.
It was already past 11 a.m when his five months old baby woke up. He gave her a quick bath and put on her favorite dress. It will take nearly 2 hours to complete his tasks, especially when bathing her. She loves water and every time he pulls her out in the tub, she will throw her most scary tantrum that will last for an hour!
After he was done with her, they went downstairs and one of his employees brought a bouquet of red roses. He sigh and smiled.
"Is this from, Jerome, again?" He asked.
"Nope, from Max—hi Scarlett!"
"And who's Max?"
"Your another secret admirer!"
He rolled his eyes. It really getting annoying receiving the type of gift like this to people he never knew or met.
"I'll do some groceries for our unavailable ingredients. Anything you want to add to the list?"
"Nope."

They spend 2 hours in the mall with his daughter. Aside from going to the grocery store, he also bought a new set of dresses for her and a set of hair accessories. Scarlett is gifted with thick shiny hair, so he put extra care of it and makes sure he got all the equipment for her hair.
When he arrived at the store he was surprised to see that they had already put a Close sign when it was still 4 p.m, the store will be closed at 8 p.m. He immediately went inside and check if there was a problem, but what makes him more surprised is, that the medium bread box and the glass cabinet where all the pastry are displayed were empty, everything is empty. It's like someone just wiped off all their food! He called one of his staff and asked what happened.
"You won't believe it, Harry. Someone just came in a while ago and brought all of our stocks!" They are smiling from ear to ear.
"Yes! We thought he was just joking but he didn't, he really buy everything!"
"Do you know who it was? Maybe we can give him some freebies or a discount?" He can't help but smile as well.
"No, I think he's not from this town."
"Yeah, I never saw that guy before."
"If he'll come back, call me right away so I can thank him personally."

That night after they close the bakeshop, Harry is busy cleaning the house. This is the only time that he can clean when Scarlett is already sleeping and the shop is closed. He can freely move around without someone calling him. After he clean everything, he went to his room and prepared to go to bed. This is his routine now, he is now a full-time dad and a mom to Scarlett at the same time he takes care of his small business. It takes a lot of patience to make this huge change. However, despite the changes, he always thinks of the person he left in New York and every night is like torture for him because not a single night he won't think of Zayn.
He stood up and went to his closet, he grab the small box and took the rose ring, he grip it tight while he sob. He misses him so much. No matter how many years will come, he will always be his everlasting love.
