So I was watching this video about how the school system is ineffective in todays modern world. The school system was created in the industrial age where listening to orders and being controlled would get you far, but in todays modern world, that WON'T work. I don't know why schools are still going with this system though! There are so many videos about how the school system just doesn't work and yet I can't see any schools changing! So in todays chapter, I'm going to be speaking out my thoughts on the school system, why?

My side
So I don't really go to school... I'm still going online. I practically haven't learned anything other than information about world wars and have an F in music. Basically to sum it up, I'm getting a lot of useless information that I do not need! like- I don't need to learn about what happened in the past since I'm already looking the future in the eye, and I don't need to learn about music since I will never make music anyways!
Schools seem to be giving us a bunch of information that we DON'T need instead of equipping us with knowledge that could put a roof over our head! Now I'm starting to respect those "black markets" in schools because at least there are some kids who are learning a bit about running a business! Even if it isn't very good, it's a good start compared to what schools give us.
Also! As the video I watched says, schools forget the most BASIC human trait in the whole wide world...
We are all different.
Different ways of learning
We all have different passions, different mindsets, different personalities and most importantly of all, different ways of learning. Not all children can learn using only one school system! In your school, have you've ever had that one really smart kid who had the best grades? Chances are their the type of person who can learn using the tools the school provides. But not all kids are that smart kid!!! Other kids might learn better with tools that schools don't provide! Let's say for example.. instead of just listening to a teacher talk about science in a monotone voice all day, you'd like them to throw in a little humor! Let the lesson be a little more funny because to you those jokes are what make the lesson worth learning. Besides, if you don't listen you won't get the joke when they say; "I was reading a book on helium. I couldn't put it down". (yes I pulled that joke from google).
....Okay now- if I'm being honest- I've run out of things to say.
