To say he was nervous would be and understatement.

The tournament was in two days and Percy felt like he was not ready. Their team had only fought together once and they've only sparred ever since.

And that was only a few days ago.

So when he saw his team listed as one of the handful that entered, his nervousness reached an all time high.

Didn't stop him from having fun with Annabeth though.

The duo were cuddled on Percy's sofa, being intimate and everything. Percy could honestly say he's never felt happier, but he wouldn't say that in front of Artemis.

As Annabeth pulled away, she smiled. "I love you."

"Love you too." Percy said.

"So, you sure you're not telling me your plans?" Annabeth asked.

Percy stuck his tongue out at her. "Wait like everyone else."

"No fair. You get intel from all teams from YouTube videos."

"Serves you right for being good." Percy shrugged. "Besides, you guys got experience. Aside from Selene, all of us are rookies. And I'm a nervous wreck."

Annabeth chuckled as she laced her fingers through his. "Well, I think you'd do well as long as you don't meet our team." Annabeth said. "Because we'll wipe the floor with you."

"You never know." Percy grinned. "Now get up, I gotta go somewhere."

Annabeth pouted. "Can't we stay for a little bit more?"

Percy ruffled her hair and kissed her forehead. "Sorry. I'm out to meet my dad."

"Oh." Annabeth seemed surprised. "You're okay with him now?"

Percy sighed. "No. But he wants to talk to me about something. Might be important."

"Okay then." Annabeth seemed reluctant but she got up. Percy smiled and pecked her lips.

"I'll be back soon."

"I'll hold you onto that." Annabeth smiled.

Line Break

Percy arrived at the Argonauts HQ where he was greeted by Ariadne and Perseus.

"Hey. We've been waiting." Ariadne said.

"She won't say it, but she misses you." Perseus mused. Ariadne smacked him on the arm. "Ow."

"Mr Don and Jason are waiting in the training room. Come."

The trio made their way to the training room where Jay and his dad were waiting, and an unfamiliar third guest.

The boy had green hair and was short, probably a kid that's ten or eleven years old. His fair complexion complimented his green eyes that matches his hair.

The kid was unmoving, like statue. He stood up straight and stared into nothing.

"Heyoo." Perseus said, interrupting them. Jay and Poseidon looked up from the kid and waved at them. Jay's eyes were red and his cheeks were puffy.

"Have you been crying?" Percy asked.

"No." Jay lied as he sobbed and wiped his tears away.

"Uh huh." Percy said. "What happened? Did Atalanta bullied you again?"

"No." Jay said. "The kid's backstory is just tragic."

"Yeah. Speaking of," Ariadne knelt next to the kid. "What's this?" She poked the statue with her finger. "Looks real".
