Steven Stone POV
I finally arrived at Lilycove City, it has been a long time since I've been here, since all the crowds of people coming to see the "Well-known Champion of the Hoenn region." I chuckle at the thought. I look around at the wandering trainers, having fun with their partner Pokemon, giving a soft smile. I run my hand through my silver hair, letting that fresh ocean breeze, exhaling it out.
I stepped out of the ferry and take a walk around the city, looking around to see the Department Store, while enjoying the wide city view, slipping my hands in the pockets of my dark grey and violet suit. I stop in my tracks, as I feel like something was quite wrong.
And my senses were right.
A man was running toward me, and I managed to catch a glance of him, before he tripped and fell.
"Are you alright?" I approached them.
"Do you think I'm alright? It was quite a fall, if you were wondering." The other man chuckled. I softly laughed.
"By the way, what's your name? I'm Steven, Steven Stone."
"Glad to meet you, I am Wallace."
He took the time to adjust his beret and fix some of the parts of his stunning outfit, and with that, I couldn't help but stare at him. Either it was his sharp teal hair, or the illustrious teal eyes that reflect the ocean view near us. Whoever was with him was lucky, and I wish I was with Wallace, so badly. But then my eyes shifted to the bouquet of white and pink roses.
"May I ask, but who's the stunning person who will receive that?" I looked at him with a curious expression.
"Oh, you haven't heard? I'm giving it to Winona, the Fortree City Gym Leader. We are sort of together now."
I simply nodded and smiled, knowing I couldn't help but feel this pit of an unknown feeling form in my stomach. I was gonna say something to Wallace, but it seemed that he had fled already. I took the moment to breathe, and process this. That bad feeling managed to get to my throat, and I coughed it out, and I was not expecting blood and hydrangea petals...
