"Ashley.. I'm going to end up like the man in misery." Pauly said flopping himself down on my bed and digging his face in my pillow.

"We won't let that happen Pauly.. nothing is going to happen to you or your kneecaps." I told him while patting his back.

"I have never been so shocked by a woman's behaviour. Like, she wouldn't leave the boardwalk until I left.. she kept ringing all night. I don't need this scenario right now." Pauly explained how he was feeling about Danielle who had changed from being a nice girl he brought home to someone he wished he could hide from.

"Pauly, you just have to be honest with her. If she's a mature human being she'll understand that this is all moving very fast and will understand that you need to step back before feelings get hurt." I told Pauly who rolled over onto his back and stared up at the ceiling.

"You know — you should start charging us with these therapy sessions. You don't understand how amazing you are at giving advice." Pauly said which I couldn't help but laugh at his words.

"I'm always going to want to help the best way I can.. I'm always going to be in your corner." I told Pauly who wrapped his arms around my body and squeezing the life out of me.

"You are truly amazing Ash." Pauly said leaning back and resting his head on my pillow.

"Uh, Pauly.. you want to take the call?" We heard Mike yell from the front room.

"Who is it?!"

"Danielle." Pauly grabbed my hand and made me follow his footsteps and he quietly grabbed the phone and decided to end this never ending obsession.

"Let me get some popcorn." Vin said rushing over to the couch and wanting to watch this whole thing fall apart.

"What's up?" Pauly placed the phone by his ear, making himself comfortable for a long phone call. "You don't like to be played, okay.."

Vin was throwing punches in the air while laughing into a pillow.

We heard mumbling for probably ten minutes and Pauly ended up pulling the phone away from his ear. "Is it my turn to talk yet?"

Finally Pauly got the time to talk and he was not backing down from what he was feeling. "Okay, you stalked my whole life on the boardwalk.. and then I had every intention of calling you like I said I would.. but you had already called when you said you wouldn't call until I called you."
