This morning at school, I ran to my locker in hopes to see Carter again. I put my things in and shut my locker to turn around and see a group of guys heading my way.
"Hey beautiful." One guy said
"What's for dinner tonight?" Another shouted. I ran out of the hallway and bumped into Tara.
"Hey girl! What the rush?!"
"Well I'm trying to find Carter-"
"Wait. Carter Reynolds" she interrupted.
"Yes." I blushed.
"HAHAHA!!'" Tara burst into laughter.
"What's wrong."
"Nothing it's just he is way to popular. I don't think you have a chance" Does she really not believe in me? I walked away embarrassed. I kept waking to first period. The bell rang just in time when I entered.
"Take a seat class! I have announcements to make!" A crowd of people rushed through the tight squeeze. I sat down and noticed Carter talking to this guy named Aaron. They were laughing and talking all the way across the room. I sighed with relief. The classes cheering died down and everyone was in their seat. Except of course for Carter.
"Mr. Reynolds? Do you care to take a seat now please." She asked quite irritated.
"Yeah sure whatever." He slowly walked to his chair. By heart started to throb. It was like my chest was open and it exploded. My cheeks are bright red and I'm so hot and sweaty. Ugh.
