The next morning at school, I decided to break the news to Carter. I shoved my stuff into my locker and saw him sitting near a bench. I walked over there.
"Hey Carter."
"Um hi."
"Can I talk to you."
"I guess." We sat down.
"So uh I'm not really comfortable with this relationship. I think the train needs to come to a stop." He looked at me for a while.
"Ok."
"What?"
"I said ok. What do you expect me to cry and get mad at you."
"Uh sorta."
"Ally I love you but now I just want to be really close friends. If that's ok with you."
"That's perfect."
