"I can explain" I shook nervously as I sat in and ugly office chair.
"And that is?" Mr. B. exclaimed. I sighed.
"Well first in class I was talking to this boy named Carter and-"
"What's his last name"
"Reynolds." he wrote something down "Go on."
"Well Mrs. Heckler caught us so she held me in."
"For how long?"
"About half of 2nd period." he wrote another thing down. I hope this doesn't create drama.
"Go on."
"So then she let us go. Since I was late, I ran to the hallway and bumped into Carter. I tripped and got this scab" I pointed to the bloody cut.
"Oh dear we will get you to the nurse."
"But then Mrs. Jori thought I was ditching."
"Ok I'll talk to her. Let's get you to the nurse." he walked me to a small room where I got bandages and a call home. My mom picked me up. I got in the car and got out my phone. The car ride was complete silence. Ugh!
"Mom I can explain everything." I explained killing the silence.
"I don't want to hear it Ally." she snapped. My mom always has a strict policy about grades and getting in trouble. I hope she's not too mad. We pulled in to the garage.
"Go upstairs and start your homework."
"Yes Ma'am." I groaned. I learned not to argue and just do what she tells me. I went upstairs. Turned on my music and got out a book. Then I remembered what had caused today to be so wrong. I gasped. Carter.
