"Ahhhh, I'm glad school is finally over. Now I can go home and relax." Keigo spoke as he walked out with Kyubey and Mina, along with a few other students who were wondering out. "Yeah, but I was loaded with homework today. My mom would kill me if I didn't do it." Mina sighed heavily. "We could stop at the convenience store." Keigo said looking over to the two girls. "That would be fun, you coming Kyubey?" Mina asked curiously.
"Ah-no. I have Art club tonight. I'm staying after school." Kyubey spoke, breaking free of her thoughts. "Awe really? And I thought we'd get to hang out today." Mina sighed. "I could bring you back some snacks if you'd like. I'd hate to leave you here without something." Keigo smiled sweetly at her. Normally Kyubey's heart would flutter a little, but now she just couldn't stop thinking about Touya. "No, you don't have to. I don't want to make you walk all the way back here just for me." Kyubey smiled softly.
"Are you sure? You know I don't mind." He asked and Kyubey nodded. "I'm sure I'll be fine. If I do end up getting hungry I'll text you." She smiled softly. Keigo nodded smiling slightly. "Alright, let me know." He said turning to walk away. "See you tomorrow Kyubey." Mina said happily walking off with Keigo at her side.
She waved then tied her hair up and went back inside to put her bag away. She grabbed her art supplies, then made her way down the hall, only to grunt when she bumped into something. She started to fall back, only to get pulled back by strong arms.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you. I was going to go over some stuff with Kurogiri." sighed Touya and Kyubey's face warmed, her eyes wide when she had saw that he had changed clothes. He was now in a loose white tee with sweatpants and gym shoes. He looked comfortable.
"T-That's okay. Are you staying late today?" she asked as he pulled back to a safe distance and he nodded. "Kind of. I still need to go home though to feed my dog." he said and she smiled. "That's adorable. What's his name?"
"Cloud. He's a little lazy though." he muttered, shaking his head and Kyubey laughed quietly. "That's cute. I'm going to the third floor, that's where my art club is..sadly it's just me today. But I should get some work done. You can come up and see me, if you don't leave." She smiles.
"I'm not leaving just yet, so I don't mind. But are you walking home tonight?" he questioned, concerned. "Yep. I always do. I'd rather walk than take the train, too many perverted men." Kyubey responded nodding slightly as well. "I can give you a ride home if you like. Just tell me when. I'll have to stop to feed Cloud first though." he offered. She nods. "Okay..thank you. We can meet at the front if you want, or the side door since it's closer to the parking lot." She smiles softly.
"Okay. I'll be up to the art room in a second. And try not to bump into anyone else, okay?" he remarked and she huffed, narrowing her eyes at him. "You bumped into me." she mumbled and he chuckled. "Whatever you say doll." he replied and Kyubey froze. Realization dawned on Touya's face and he paled. "I didn't mean.." he muttered, sighing and she waved him off, ignoring the fluttering of her heart.
"It's okay. I'll be waiting, Touya." she smiled and he swallowed at that, shaking his head as he walked past her.
She waited for a moment, making sure he was actually gone before she sighed heavily. He's going to kill me...She thought before making her way upstairs to the third floor. She made her way to the empty art room, there were tables and cabinets and other things around the room. Kyubey set down her things then tied her hair up. Walking over to the cabinet that was next to the furthest left door pulling it open she grabbed an apron that was covered in old paint stains. There were only four members of the art club. Kyubey was the club leader, so as long as she was there. It was a functioning club in the student council’s eyes.
She grabbed some art supplies then an easel and a blank canvas. She sketched out what she wanted to draw, deciding to paint something cute. This time she painted a young woman and a young man laying on the beach, under the setting sunlight. As she continued the painting she took a moment to look it over, she noticed that the young man she painted this time, looked a lot like...
Touya?!
Her face turned bright red and she covered her face and whined. "Nooo..." She looked back at the painting and huffed taking it off the easel. "What's that?" came his voice from behind and she jumped, her face pink as she held the canvas behind her back, Touya tilting his head curiously.
"Well.." she mumbled and he raised a brow, noticing her embarrassed expression. "I'm sure it isn't that bad." he said, thinking she thought the portrait was bad but she shook her head. "I um.." she sighed and slowly revealed the picture, Touya looking at it quietly. Kyubey shifted on her feet awkwardly and he smiled.
"It's really good. I see you couldn't help painting me, huh?" he teased gently and she huffed. "Oh shut up." she grumbled and sighed, placing the canvas back onto the easel. He took a seat beside her and watched as she began to fill it in with more color.
"I always wanted to paint or draw like that but I'm not that great." he commented and Kyubey tilted her head in acknowledgement. "I'm sure you're not that bad. Why don't you let me see a drawing?" she said and he sighed. "Alright.." he mumbled and grabbed a nearby sketchpad as well as a pencil.
It was quiet while the two worked, until Touya finally looked up minutes later. "This is the best I could do." he said and Kyubey turned, her eyes wide at the pencil drawing.
It was a very detailed picture of her painting. But her eyes were shining and she was smiling. Touya was seated behind her, admiring her work..or her, she couldn't tell.
"It's really good." she breathed and he scratched his head sheepishly. "Not really." he said and she gave him a look. "You can draw really well. Also..it's late." she said and he glanced at the time. "Oh shit yeah we should go." he said and Kyubey giggled.
"Fuck don't tell anyone." he muttered and she laughed. "It's fine. I figured you had a potty mouth." she giggled and he rolled his eyes.
