Chapter 2

hello everyone!!!

i hope you all had a good week! so i think that i'm going to upload every saturday. or at least i'm going to try lmao

school is very difficult and with finals coming up i don't have a lot of free time but when i do i spend a lot of it writing or thinking of new ideas for this book. a lot of people want me to make it a happy ending so we'll see where my mind takes me!

enjoy this cute chapter of them getting ready for their date plus a small flashback! sorry it's so short, i'll probably make them longer once i get out of school :)

As Louis is driving to the store, he can't help but smile. He feels so lucky that Harry is his boyfriend

See Louis has always been self conscious about himself, he's always had this little voice in his head saying how he isn't good enough

But lately that voice has become quieter, and has been replaced with Harry's voice; telling him every little thing he's said about him that he loves

Harry has become such an important person to him in such a small amount of time. It's going to be three months tomorrow but it feels as if he's known Harry his entire life

That's probably because they know everything about each other. Louis thinks back to the night they met

"So... would you maybe want to talk outside? It's pretty noisy in here" Louis says, laughing shyly

"I was just about to say the same thing, here let's go to the back. I think there's a little couch out there next to the fire place" Harry replies

And with that they move past all of the people and make their way outside

"Ahh it's so much more peaceful out here" Louis says

"I know, the night sky is always so romantic"

Harry realizes that he said that out loud and he feels his checks turning red

"Yeah, it's so pretty; just like you" Louis says while looking directly into Harry's eyes

They smile at each other for just a minute

It's a comfortable silence though, almost like they can understand each other's thoughts just by looking at one another

"Would you maybe want to ummm... cuddle by the fire? I mean if that's too much I totally understand that. Sorry, of course it's too much, I mean we just met and I already asked you to cuddle and now I-"

"I would love to" Louis cuts him off

"Really?" Harry questions nervously, looking back at Louis

"Really."

They end up talking about pretty much everything. It's one of those nights that seem to last forever, but in all of the best ways.

Just before the sun rose; they ended up falling asleep. Louis still holding Harry close to him. And everything just felt right

Louis shakes himself out of his thoughts as he arrives at the store. He wonders what Harry is doing

Probably still looking for his "perfect outfit" he thinks to himself and lets out a chuckle

"Ughhhh Niall!! I can't find it!" Harry shouts while throwing even more clothes onto his bed

"What are you even looking for?"

"My little black dress!"

"Mate why are you looking for a dress rn? It's the middle of the day" Niall asks in confusion

"Because I have my three month anniversary date with Lou tomorrow and he's planning a special night for us at his place and I think we're finally going to sleep together so I want to wear my favorite dress!" Harry explains, still frantically looking through his clothes that are also now on the floor

"Wait really!! Omg finally, it's already been three months. I thought gay people were supposed to move fast in a relationship"

Harry looks at him and they both start laughing

"Heyyyyyy! We can move at our own pace" Harry says, still laughing

"Yeah yeah I know, it's just you usually hook up with guys within a week. What's taking you and him so long anyway?"

"I mean... he just isn't ready. And I'm ok with that. I'd wait all the time in the world for him, as long as he's still with me" Harry explains while trying to hide his smile

"Awwww you're too cute! I knew it was a good idea to introduce the two of you"

"Well technically he asked about me" Harry states

"Yeah but I'm the one who dragged you over to him"

"Ok fine, you're the best mate in the world. Now help me look for my dress!"

"Oh I know where it is"

"What? How?"

"I am the one who does our laundry" Niall explains while rolling his eyes

"So... can you tell me where it is already??"

"Yeah, it's in the dryer. I had to wash it twice because it still smelled like smoke"

"Oh, sorry. You know it's not my fault though! I didn't mean for it to get lost in my room!"

"For three months"

"Ok well to be fair, I don't like to clean my room"

"Yeah I know, that's why I clean it for you"

"And that's why I love you" Harry says smiling at him

"Yeah, so why do I love you again?"

"Because I cook everything and surprise you with desserts. And because everyone loves me"

"I'll tell you what, you are unbelievable" Niall rolls his eyes again, smiling this time

"Yeah, but you still love me"

"Whatever, don't you have more things to do before your date with louis?"

"Omg you're right! Hey umm Niall?"

"Your niall polish is back under the sink"

"Thank you! You're the best!!"

And with that, Harry quickly hugs Niall and rushes to the bathroom to paint his nails a new color. He chooses his favorite one, the blue one

again i'm sorry that this chapter is so short!

next weeks one will be longer, i promise

i hoped you liked it though!!!

i'm thinking about including flashbacks in every chapter

also i love niall and harry's friendship so that's why the majority of this chapter was them lmao
