Louis can't take it much longer, he's so excited for Harry to arrive and even though they just saw each other, it feels like it's been forever

He told Harry to keep his 'perfect outfit' casual since they're staying in, but he knows Harry isn't going to listen. But that's one of the many things he loves about him; he loves dressing up

They can literally just be going to the movies and Harry will always look amazing (even though he looks amazing in everything... and nothing)

As he waits for Harry to get to his place, he can't help but think about their first real date

"Liam!" Louis calls out

"Yes I know, don't worry, I'm not going to forget"

"Ok good, I can't be late! It's my first date with him and I'm nervous enough as it is"

"Technically you guys already had a date"

"No that doesn't count; it wasn't planned so it wasn't an actual date"

"Well you guys fell asleep in front of a fire after romanticly talking for hours so I think you should consider that a date"

"No, it was a perfect meet cue, THIS is our first date"

Louis hasn't always been the romantic type, but ever since he met Harry, his view on things shifted

Don't get me wrong, he was always sweet and caring, but he usually met guys at a bar and hook up with them. Sometimes it lead to a relationship, but not always.

Last time he actually met someone he cared about, they ended up sleeping together and after two months he found out the guy was just using him for sex

It completely broke him, so he hasn't dated anyone in almost a year; just the occasional hookups that he made sure lead to nothing

Harry was different from anyone else though, he could just feel it

"Romantic meet cue?" Liam questioned him while raising his eyebrows "Who are you and what have you done to my best mate?"

"Oh shut up Payno"

"Alright are we going or not?"

"Yes, also thank you for driving me. I'm so nervous and I don't need to wreck my car... again"

And with that they walked out the door and left to go to a cute place called "The Beachwood Cafe"

"Thanks for the ride! I'll call you later so you can pick me up" Louis says while getting out of the car

"Sounds good, have a nice time. Don't be nervous!"

"Yeah like that will work" Louis says in his head

Louis waits inside until Harry arrives

But after he's 15 minutes late Louis gets even more nervous and thinks he flaked

He gets up to leave but then runs into someone

"Oops!" Harry says

"Hi" Louis responds
