Chapter 17

hello loves!!

i tried really hard to get this chapter out as soon as i could, especially because of the next chapter that i already have planned (literally it's all just smut lmao) but ofc my life decided to be mean again, but it did do some nice things too so i was enjoying that. i still tried to get this chapter out for you guys as soon as i could

Louis has to be careful with how this date plays out. He can't go back to their flat sooner than the others get it ready, but he can't really check in to see how close they are to being done. Of course he would forget that there's barely any signal from where he planned their date. He figured that he gave them enough time to get everything ready, at least he hopes so. Right now though, he has to put his faith in the other boys and focus on what's the most important thing to him.

"Are you ready for a romantic date love?" Louis asked while looking at Harry.

"Ready" Harry said while smiling. He loves how romantic Louis is, even if he doesn't let a lot of people see his softer side, it's definitely his personal favorite. He loves everything about him really, even his darker side. The side he doesn't want him to see, but has trusted him with anyways.

They both smile at each other for just a minute longer before getting out of the car. Louis grabs the stuff he brought from the trunk of the car and walks back over to Harry. They're mostly the only ones on the beach, besides the occasional few people walking by. So they choose a nice spot and Louis pulls out a blanket from the bag he packed. He made sure to bring a few blankets since it's going to get a bit cold once the sun goes down.

"Wow, you really did think of everything didn't you?" Harry asks. "Of course, always be prepared for any situation." Louis replied, smiling proudly. He always has a solution to every issue that might occur, some people think it's weird or silly but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Louis got out the food and placed it onto the blanket that him and Harry were sitting on. The food was all in containers so he wasn't worried about anything getting on it. He packed some sandwiches while Harry was getting ready earlier and some mixed fruits. There was also some mixed vegetables with dip and some junk food. He figured that it would be nice to have something to snack on if they were still a bit hungry later on. He also packed waters of course.

"Lou how did you even have time to sneak all of this past me?" Harry asked while laughing a bit. "I moved quickly, plus I knew that you would probably take a little time getting ready. And I must say, you look very pretty." Louis said before kissing him on the cheek. "Why thank you, so do you" Harry giggled.

Let's let them enjoy their date for a while as we see how the guys are doing back at their flat...

"Ok, I think we're finally done with the bedroom!" Niall said happily. "It only took us an hour and a traumatizing discovery" Liam said as they walked into the living room to help Zayn. "What discovery?" Zayn asked. "Well, we were organizing the closet and found their box of toys. And I think one of them, cough, Louis, cough, bought something for Harry for their anniversary." Liam explained.

"Oh no, what was it?" Zayn asked. "You don't want to know." Niall said as he shuddered at the image in his mind again. "I'm definitely going to mock Louis about it later though." Liam said while laughing. "Ok, how bad could it possibly be?" Zayn asked again. "Go look for yourself babe" Liam told him.

Zayn walked into their room, opened the closet, looked inside the box, quickly put it back, and walked back into the living room. "Well then, that was definitely something" Zayn said. "I feel bad for their neighbors" Niall laughed.
