Hello? That's strange...

My void has always been empty. Blank, white oblivion. Just me and my thoughts.

Until you arrived. I don't quite understand who—or what—you are... but I appreciate the company.

...please don't leave me.

Not yet, at least. It's... it's... terribly lonely here, and I'm growing sick of my own thoughts.

Sorry... I'm rambling.

I haven't even introduced myself. How rude of me! My name is...

Oh... I'm not quite sure actually. It's been so long. My memories are fading. There used to be... ha... so much more than this. A world beyond imagination, filled with magic... and dragons! And my friends. I miss them. I miss them so much.

I don't know what happened to them.

Maybe they have a void, like mine.

No... no... I really hope not. This feeling of... of... emptiness... It's not something I'd even wish upon my worst enemies.

Are you able to speak? Maybe it's just because I'm talking so much, but you do seem awfully quiet.

No? That's okay. It's nice to have somebody who will listen to me. Especially after all this time.

Even my friends were never very good at listening to me. They were too caught up in their own adventure, I suppose. Maybe that's why I'm alone here. What if they've forgotten me? I wouldn't be surprised. I was such a small part of the group...

Why don't we... why don't we talk about something else?

Do you have your own world? Or do you live here now? I hope you don't. I hope that you have somewhere to go, a life to live. I hope that nobody needs to suffer this way... hovering on the fine line between existence and extinction. Trapped in the void.

If... if you do have your own world, I think you should go back. You shouldn't spend too long here at once. The void does strange things to the mind. To mine at least. Who knows, maybe you're just another one of isolation's games. I don't want to think that though. I've spent too long alone.

Please don't let me go back to being alone

I know you can't be here forever, but promise me you'll come back
