Letter

It's almost the end of summer vacation. I haven't seen Adam all vacation. He's at some hockey camp. He had asked me to come to but my parents needed to leave Minnesota because they're filming a new season of Teen Wolf. So I stayed with grandpa. He's doing much better.

After that one night at Adam his house, Julie, Dean, Kenny, Russ and Luis went back to their home states. The other ducks were on vacation, except for Charlie and. He spends a lot of time at our house and we also work in grandpa's shop together. We even sometime cook for grandpa.

Sometimes I eat at the Banks family. They sometimes invite me and grandpa over for dinner.

This morning, I woke up and made breakfast for me and grandpa. We watched some hockey videos and called with mom and dad. We also watched Teen Wolf together.

After that I showered and got ready for the day. I didn't know what I was going to do today but you never know. I was wearing green cargo pants with a white t-shirt and white Nike airforce.

I laid on my bed when my window opened.

"Adam! Omg!" I jumped up and hugged him tight.

"I missed you so much." He cheered.

"How was camp?" I asked, sitting on my bed.

"It was fun! I made lots of friends, some of them live here in Minnesota. But I really missed you." He put out.

"Aw I missed you to." I looked at his hand. "What do you have there?"

He looked down. "Oh yes! I think you have one too."

I looked at him confused, stood up and walked downstairs.

And indeed, there was a letter on the table. I took it and sat down on the couch. Adam came and sat down next to me.

'Eden Hall' was written in it.

We opened it.

Hello ducks.
Eden Hall has give you a athletic scholarship, with the whole team. The school term starts after the vacation. Let us know if you're in.

I looked at Adam who already looked at me.

"Wow scholarships? That's amazing!" My grandpa said happy.

"Yeah I guess it is." I said.

The door opened and Charlie stormed in all sweaty and out of breath.

"Freaking scholarships?!" He shouted.

We laughed at the boy who was walking to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Hello to you too, Charlie." Adam laughed.

He swallowed the water in his mouth and walked up to Adam with open arms. They gave each other a hug. Adam and Charlie were best friends since Adam joined the ducks. It's adorable how they treat each other.

Grandpa grabbed his wallet and gave us money.

"Here, go celebrating." He said, handing me the money.

"Thank you! Are you coming with us?" I asked.

"No I'll stay here, little angel."

I gave him a small smile and walked to the door with the two boys, who were talking about the hockey camp Adam went to.

Charlie said we could go to Mickeys because his mom was working. The guys ran to a booth while I greeted Casey and ordered milkshakes.

I walked back to the boys and sat next to Adam.

"You know that Eden Hall is full of preppy's right?" Charlie said, slurping his milkshake.

"Sstttt don't say that! The biggest preppy is right next to me." I joked. Adam jutted his bottom lip out as if he was sad. I laughed and placed a small kiss on his lips.

"Blewwww, gross." Charlie said as if he was throwing up. I stuck out my tongue.

We sat down for almost two hours, talking about everything.

Then I realized something. "Shit I have to call my parents." I took my phone out of my pocket and called my mom.

"Hey mom!"
"Hey sweetie, how's everything?"
"Good! I'm with Charlie and Adam at Mickeys."
"Sounds nice."
"Mom, Eden Hall academy have given us athletic scholarships!"
"Omg honey! That's great. Dylan?"
My dad popped in the view.
"Hey dad!"
"Hey honey. Is Adam there?"
"Yes he is?"
"Give him to me."
Adam, Charlie and my dad talked a little before they hung up.

"You guys are best friends with my dad?"  I asked.

"Yeah we love Dylan." Charlie spoke up.

I laughed and stood up.

"Come on, we're going home." I said.

"But I don't want to go home." Charlie sobbed.

"Maybe we can go to my place and watch a movie?" I suggested.

"Yeahh! I'll ask my parents." Adam said.

We got to my house and the boys were already upstairs while I grabbed some drinks and snacks. Grandpa was out with Jan, his brother. I walked upstairs. Adam and Charlie were laying on my bed. I jumped beside them.

"So, what movie do we want to watch?" I asked, grabbing some popcorn.

"I don't wanna watch a movie. Let's watch Teen Wolf." Charlie grabbed the remote out my hands and turned on Teen Wolf.

It was fun to see my parents acting together.

"Oh I love Dylan so much." Adam said.

I looked at him and frowned. "I'm getting the feeling you guys love my dad more than you love me."

Adam laughed and placed a kiss on my head.

The time flew by.

"Shit I gotta leave. Bye guys!" Charlie grabbed his stuff and left.

"What about you? Want to sleep over?" I asked Adam.

"Let me ask my mom real quick." He texted his mom and she said it was okay.

We got ready for bed. I looked at Adam and we locked eyes. "You know I really love you right?" He said.

I smiled and leaned in to kiss him. He kissed back and we started making out. There it was again, the feeling in my stomach every time this happens. Things heated up. My hands glided to the bottom of his shirt. He took it off and I looked at his abs.

He smiled and leaned in again. I placed my hand on the back of his head. His hands were on my lower back, touching the bottom of my shirt. I stopped him. He looked at me.

"I'm sorry-" he said.

"No I'm sorry. I just don't know if I want to go that far yet..." I said looking down.

He lifted up my face with his hand. "It's okay. I'll be ready when you're ready." I leaned my forehead against his.
