Aka Pooltime Fun

A/N: This is my very first actual non-fanfic story and I plan for it to be more novella than the book because I don't think I can make it that long with my story. If I am lucky I will get it 30 pages so think of this as a long short story with chapter splits each chapter will cover a different event in the charecter's lives until the end. The plan is to stop at maybe 18 and at worst 23. Either way, it will stop at least I hope it will that I can get through this so if you were able to stick to my rambling I hope you enjoy this journey alongside me.

The sound of slash could be heard around the pool. As someone had taken a jump into the cool water of the pool. The sun was shining brightly as if it was looking down upon them smiling. The moment the person hit the water a small wave of water could be felt. After a moment of quiet, the person pooped back up now smiling. This was the sort of thing that Hailey would observe. She would watch as one after another people would take their jump and land with a big splash. She was the only one who hadn't as she managed to stay dry from the hair up. She sat on the edge of the pool kicking her feet softly against the water. As she watched one after another take their turn. She sat there quietly just observing them that was until someone appeared beside her. His touch on her shoulder caused her to whirl around to see a boy with messy dark brown hair wet from water, eyes that showed a mischievous side to them, his height was only a couple of inches above her own, his build was one accustomed to a middle schooler. "What do you want," Hailey asked the boy.

"Can't I come and see my friend with no other motives"

"Cut the crap we both know that's bull crap so why try to lie"

"Grumpy as always I see"

"Yet you still choose to hang out with me"

"Yes I do wonder why at times"

"So why are you here Noah? Sure it isn't just to bicker with me?"

"I have you know our bickering matches give me life"

"Haha very funny"

"It's true it's your fault if you don't believe me"

"Yeah yeah whatever you say now why are you really here Noah. Other than just to annoy me"

"You wound me Hailey you know"

"Yet here you still are"

"Yes here I am"

"Now I will ask again why are you here Noah?"

"Why to help you connect with the water?"

"What are talking about?"

"You are about to find out", Noah said with a smirk that appeared on his face. Before Hailey could even say anything Noah gave her a light push as Hailey landed with a plump into the cool water this resulted in her now mostly dry hair being soaked with water. It took a moment for her to pop back up. When she did through a somewhat dark presence covered her.

"What the" Hailey was about to say before a man with messy strawberry blond hair pulled into a short ponytail, sky blue eyes, a trimmed beard, an athletic built, on his right shoulder was the tattooed symbol of the South Korean flag, the man stood at just 6 feet towering above the two teens and wearing swimming trunks.

"You weren't just about to cuss now were you, Ms. Davis," the man asked?

"What does it matter to you, sir?"

"As much as a firecracker as ever I see", the man responded with a light laugh.

"You know the rules"
