OLI pulled up in front of Cora's house. He got out, climbing the rope and into her room. "Let's go, idiot."
Cora turned around, grinning. "Fine, moron."
Oli rolled his eyes, gasping fakely as Cora flipped him off mockingly.
Cora laughed. "You're just chilling on my windowsill?"
"Yep."
Cora smiled lightly before turning around and looking at something else.
Oli was literally beaming. And kind of melting about the fact that Cora laughed. Literally one of his favorite sounds. He found himself staring at her as she walked around her room looking for something.
"Cor,"he said finally, catching her attention. "We've gotta go. Or we'll get fired,"he said, looking outside.
Cora looked at him. "Yeah. Okay." She grabbed a bucket hat and pulled it onto her head.
Oli turned to climb down, biting his lip. He literally wanted to hug her so badly, he could not with how adorable she was at the moment.
Cora climbed out after he was on the ground. She slipped, falling off of the tree branch. Oliver quickly reached out to catch her, but it ended up looking like he was dipping her so that they would kiss.
Oli, being kind of shocked, almost dropped her. She reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck so that she wouldn't fall.
Cora and Oli stared at each other for a couple minutes before Cora quickly let go and straightened herself up.
They were both blushing furiously and silently walked to Oli's car. They didn't talk the entire drive to the theater, but turned up the radio way too loud.
Oliver was trying to drown out his head telling him that they should've kissed her, and Cora was trying to drown out how she thought Oli looked so annoyed when he caught her. She didn't realize that he wasn't scared, but nervous.
They both got out in unison, slamming their doors.
The pair still didn't speak as Oli held the door for Cora.
"You two were almost late,"Their boss, Rinn, said, watching the two come in.
Cora nodded. "We're sorry! We got caught up at my house, I lost something,"she said, quickly. She turned and tossed Oli his keychain, and he caught it, nodding to her.
"That's all you were doing at her house?"Rinn asked Oli as she walked by.
"Yes!"Oli said, rolling his eyes.
Rinn smirked lightly and went into the back.

Oliver has stared at Cora for a while. They both had talked over the past hour, and were finally talking normally.
Oliver had prepared a whole speech for Cora. He knew it was gonna go well. It's not like she'd hate them, right? Right?
He walked up to Cora. "Hey dip-"
"Do not swear at me," Cora said, putting a finger to his lips.
Oli slapped her hand away. "Don't tell me what to do."
Cora laughed. "We're closing tonight."
"Free popcorn and candy!" The two said together, laughing more.
Oli shook his head a little once Cora turned away. He was disappointed in himself. He wasn't planning to say that!
Cora turned and looked at him. "You alright, weirdo?"
"Hm? Fine!" he lied.
Cora shrugged and went to check people's tickets.
That night, they were playing The Sandlot. The theater had managed to get a baseball bat from the movie, and it was being raffled off. That meant huge crowds. Cora yelled for Oli to come help her.
Oli pushed through the crowd to find Cora glaring at him.
"What?"
"I needed you, like, 10 minutes ago!"
"They're blasting Taylor Swift! What was I supposed to do?"
Cora bit back another laugh. "And who started blasting it?"
Oli laughed guiltily.
"Fair. Look, someone had fake tickets, and I don't know what to do."
Oli shrugged. "Don't ask me."
"You work here!"
"So do you!"
Cora shoved him lightly, and he laughed.
"You can't do any damage to me. I'm, like, five inches taller than you," Oli laughed, looking at her.
Cora huffed. "And about five inches more annoying."
"You love me."
"I have to."
Oli rolled his eyes. "You don't. Hey um . . . can we talk after the movie starts?"
Cora nodded. "Yep,"she said, messing with her rim of her bucket hat.

The movie had started. Oliver was taking so many deep breaths it seemed there couldn't be any more air.
Cora walked back, taking off her hat and running her hand through her hair.
Oli looked away. He couldn't believe what he was about to do.
"Cor."
"Yes?"she asked.
"So um . . .I think. . .I like you."
"You're great, too, Oli.. . ?"Cora replied, kind of confused.
Oli looked at her, stepping a little closer. "No, like like-like you."
