The Avengers are at the party and the tower is full with people who Sophia don't even know, so she is standing with her dad, Maria, Thor and Rhody. She had only been with them for a short while but she felt safe with them.

They felt like home.

"Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So I take the tank, fly it right up to the general's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?"" He finishes the story but they just stare at him, as if they were waiting for more ""Boom! Are you looking..." Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills"

"That's the whole story?" Thor questions

"Yeah" Rhody nods "It's a War Machine story"

"Well, it's very good then" Thor laughs "It's impressive"

"Quality save" he looks at Sophia "What about you, did you think it was good?"

She shakes her head "Sorry, just not that interesting"

"Right, well at least you're honest" Rhody looks at Tony "So, no Pepper? She's not coming?"

"No"

Maria looks between them "Hey, what about Jane? Where are the ladies, gentlemen?"

"Well, Miss Potts has a company to run"

"Yes, I'm not even sure what country Jane's in. Her work on the convergence had made her the world's foremost astronomer"

"And the company that Pepper runs is the largest in tech conglomerate on earth. It's pretty exciting"

"There's even talk of Jane getting a... um, uh... Noble prize"

"Yeah, they... they must be busy because they'd hate missing you guys get together" Maria fake coughs "Testosterone! Oh, excuse me"

"Want a lozenge?" Rhody asks her

"Um-hmm" she hums

"Lets's go" they walk away and it's silent for a second until Thor speaks

"But Jane's better" Sophia chuckles

"Yeah, okay. Go talk to people, socialise" Tony gently nudges her

"Are you two not people? I mean I get he's a God and everything but, he's still a person" Sophia argues

"Go" Tony points

She rolls her eyes "Fine"

She had been walking around for a while when she seen Steve talking to someone and decided to go and talk to them

As she was walking up Steve seen her from the corner of his eye "There's our newest member"

"Hey, I was told to socialise" Sophia tells him then looks at the guy standing beside him "and you are?"

He holds out his hand for her to shake "Sam Wilson, it's lovely to meet you"

"Likewise" she shakes his hand then lets go after a second

"So, you're Starks daughter" he asks and she nods "Well, lets hope you're nicer than him"

"She's not" Steve says before Sophia can, when she heard that she lightly punched his arm

"Okay, I'm going to go talk to people who actually like me. See you guys later"

It was a little later and everyone had left, apart from the avengers. Thors hammer was sitting on the table between them
