Sophia had been in captivity for 163 days. 163 days without seeing her dad, 163 days being tortured. She was ready to give up. She was only a child, she didn't have the will power to keep going like an adult would

She had been doing the same thing the whole time she was there. It was the same everyday. Wake up, get a very small breakfast, be took to the torturing room, get tested on all day, try out her new powers and go to sleep without any dinner

But on day 164, something changed.

She did her usual routine until it got to testing out her powers, but when she walked into the training room there were 2 people waiting on her

"Sophia" Struker welcomed "It's lovely to see you again"

Even though she was scared shitless in that moment, she kept her head held high "What do you want?"

Strucker talked with a smile on his face "I thought you would were getting lonely, so I've brought someone for you to train with" he walked over to the other person in the room and patted his shoulder "This is Bucky, he's going to help you from now on"

"Bucky?" Sophia questioned, looking at the man who had yet to speak "Your parents must have hated you"

Strucker rolled his eyes at the young Stark "Sophia you will be nice, no more of your stupid comments, I've had enough of it" he shouted, making Sophia dropped her calm composure for just a sec "Now, I'm going to leave you two to train" he walked towards the exit which opened for him "and Sophia, don't be scared about hurting him, give him all you've got"

He left the room, the door making a loud bang echo through the room

Neither of them spoke, no one knowing what to say. Sophia wasn't shy by any means but you try being put in a room with a guy who is god knows how much older than you that you have to fight and see how you like it

"So" Bucky broke the uncomfortable silence "Where do we start?"

If you asked Sophia how she ended up with her powers stripped away from her while sitting in a room with her two uncles that she got arrested with, she would not be able to tell you the answer, because the truth was she didn't know

I mean, she does know but she doesn't know why it had to be that way. If this happened a month ago she would be sitting at home in bed and not some uncomfortable chair with her head on Sams shoulder watching her friend be assessed by a doctor. The accords seriously fucked things up, and she kinda felt like it was her fault

If she never blew up that building then they wouldn't be sitting there, everything would be ok and her dad and Steve wouldn't be fighting. She heard then screaming at each other earlier, she doesn't know what it was about but she heard her name in the mix so she knows it has something to do with her

Her thoughts are interrupted when Sharon walks into the office "The receipt for you gear" she hands a piece of paper to Sam and Steve

"'Bird costume?'" Sam reads making Sophia chuckle and reads over his shoulder to see what it says "Come on" he groans

Sharon only shrugs "I didn't write it" she pushes a button which gives them audio to Bucky's evaluation

"I'm not here to judge you. I just want to ask you a few questions. Do you know where you are from, James?" the doctor asks Bucky but gets silence in return "I can't help you if you don't talk to me, James"

"My name in Bucky"

Across the table from Sophia and Sam, Steve studies the blurry photo of the man who bombed the congress in Vienna "Why would the task force release this photo to begin with?" he questions

"Get the word out, involve as many eyes as we can?" Sharon suggests

"Right. It's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding. Set off a bomb, get your picture taken. Get seven billion people looking for the Winter Soldier"

"You think someone framed him to get him out of hiding?" Sophia questions "Who would do that?"

"I don't know"

"Steve, we look for the guy for two years and found nothing" Sam reminds him

"We didn't bomb the UN" Steve argues "Turns a lot of heads"

"Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee that whoever framed him would get him" Sharons says "It guarantees that we would" her gaze falls on the screen showing Bucky's evaluation, her eyes narrow

Steve frowns and looks around "Yeah"

"Tell me, Bucky" the doctor says "You've seen a great deal, haven't you?"

"I don't want to talk about it" he mutters, closing his eyes

"You fear that... if you open your mouth, the horrors might never stop. Don't worry, we only have to talk about one"

After he says that the power goes out, causing Sophia to stand up and look around at what was going on, as they were sitting in an office with glass walls "What the hell just happened?"

"Sub-level 5, east wing" Sharon tells them and they start running

"Sophia stay here" Steve orders

"Are you crazy, i'm coming with you" she runs past him and starts heading to where Sharon told them

When the trio arrive outside the chamber there are many agents slumped on the floor as red light flashing all around them

"Help me. Help" Steve charges towards the doctor, who Sophia was starting to question if he really was a doctor, was lay on the ground beside Bucky's chamber which was know empty, and if Sophia knew Bucky when he was out of control, which she did, she knew that this wasn't good

"Get up" Steve orders the man, when he doesn't move Steve grabs him and shoves him against the wall "Who are you? What do you want?" Steve questions as Sophia comes to stand behind him, her eyes glowing to threaten the man

"To see an empire fall" he answers

As Sam enters Bucky swings his fist which smashes though the wall as Sam ducks. Bucky grabs him bye the throat and throws him at the open pod

Sophia runs over and shoves Bucky backwards then throws a punch at his face, but it doesn't affect him at all. He swings his fist which Sophia grabs with her powers before it can hit her face "Bucky, you know me, stop this" she shouts at him

He should know her, he has seen her when his mind wasn't his own, and she was right, he knew her, he didn't want to hurt her, but Zemo had given him orders, and he had to follow them

He grabbed her throat and threw her to the other side of the room causing her head to hit the wall and her to fall to the floor. She tried to get up, she really did, but she couldn't, all she seen was starts before everything one t black
