Anuj set out of his mansion. Anu was still asleep and he did not want to bring her along into the mouth of danger.
Last night had been the best in all his life, not just the physical euphoria but the emotional satisfaction that he finally had someone to hold on to.

As they had lied fingers entwined he knew there was nothing in the world that could pull them apart. He smiled to himself as he sat back in his car and started it.
It was seven in the morning, the sun had not risen completely yet. He drew in a deep breath.

Ignis had been an obligation of his father he had always detested. And now it was time to get rid of it. He knew their base, he had heard of it many times.
He was going to get rid of this himself.
Alone.

Anu woke up after half an hour. The sunlight slipped into the room through a sliver of the curtains on the window.
Her phone was ringing.

She did not check the name and picked it up, "Anu where is Anuj?", There was a desperation in Vanraj's voice.
Anu instantly sat up, thankfully she had worn back her clothes last night, so she directly got off the bed and knocked at the bathroom.

The door was left open, it opened easily.
"Anu? You are there?"
"He-he is not here.. maybe he is downstairs.. I-I don't-"

Vanraj drew in a sharp breath across the phone.
"Calm down.", He stated, "Just get ready, I will pick you up."
"No no.. one minute.. where could he just go-"
"He's gone to the Ignis Headquarters in Mumbai. He knew it better than any of us. I just received a message from there.", He said.

Anu felt a chill course through her.
"How could he just not inform?!", She said clearly panicking now.
"He likes to face his battles alone. Get ready, that's it. I'll get there in fifteen minutes.", Vanraj said and hung up the call.

Anu sat back on the bed absorbing everything.

She drew in a deep breath, shoving her open hair back in frustration. He had said he was never gonna leave her and casually left her to face enemies the very next morning.
She finally got up to get ready when there was a knock at the door.

"It's open.", She said walking down to the cupboard.
"What's up with you and bhai?", This was Mukku.

"Nothing it's just-"
"I am joining you guys.", She said before Anu could complete.
"Do you know what's going on?", Anu asked perplexed.

"Call me an obsessive lover but I have a tap on Vanraj's phone. I know exactly what's going on.", Mukku said with a forced smile.
Anu paused staring at her in shock.
"But how?"
"Did bhai ever tell you I was a techno geek and hacking genius? Last time I had hacked the whole database of Kapadia industries because I was annoyed of bhai.", She said crossing her arms before her.

Anu found herself at a loss of words.
"I cannot take you into this.", She said finally.
"If not you, Raj will take me, and if none of you take me I can reach the destination myself. Raj's phone's data is enough for that business.", Malvika sounded strangely determined.
As if there was passive aggression behind her request.

Anu drew in a deep breath finding herself in a cruel spot.
"I will.", Saying so she finally pulled out clothes for herself.

Anuj sat on the chair looking at Zener in anguish.
"So you want to play with fire, young man?", Zener asked amused.
"Fire? Oh come on. Criminals like you can do no harm to me.", Anuj said smirking mockingly.
"Ah, no harm to you? But what about your darling wifey?", He asked in the same tone of mockery.

Anuj sat up straight.
"Keep her out of this.", He said coldly.
"Ouch.", Zener said amused, "Then I don't think we can keep her out of this for too long. Gimme the password in peace or I will have to resort to the bad ways."
