Todoroki was something else.No one seemed to pay much attention to him, but you certainly did.
During class he sat not far behind you. There was always a bland, stoic look across those unusually beautiful features of his. He never said much, basking in his own silence as the world moved around him.
You hadn't noticed him much before either, you were lost in the memory of what once was and what your life was now. You haven't been able to shake this thought process since you saw Bakugou again for the first time.
Wow, that was weird. You haven't thought of him as Bakugou so casually in a long time.
You did, however, think Todoroki was the most beautiful human being ever when you first saw him.
It was one of the first tasks in your hero course class, everyone was standing with their teams. All Might had drawn lots and you were paired with Todoroki and the boy with the quirk that gave him multiple arms (you'd have to ask him his name before that got awkward)
Todoroki hadn't said a word to either of you. The three of you had been assigned the hero team, but he was making no move to form a strategy.
You were teamed up against team I, Ojiro and the invisible girl. (You really needed to start learning some names)
When it was finally time for your turn, you approached the door with the boy who's name you learned was Shoji. One of his hands formed a mouth to address you. "I'm gathering that there is someone in there barefoot, an ambush I'm sure."
"You'd make a good scout," you acknowledge as you glance back up the building. "I'm a decently skilled fighter with a strong quirk so him and I can each take a side while you-"
"Just stay outside."
You had never heard him speak before.
"Get outside," he jerked his head when neither of you moved. "It's about to get frosty in here." He held up his hand like an action hero figurine.
You knew his quirk involved ice and you assumed he was a dual wielder from the few stories you heard about his family. The ice covering the left side of his body was a strange addition to his suit, possibly to cool him down but you couldn't be sure. He didn't seem like the type to explain his choices either.
"Our opponents think they're playing a defensive game but that means nothing to me." The boy just stride past the two of you like it was nothing.
Before you could blink, the air chilled and the frosty wind quickly whipped across your faces as the building was enveloped in ice.
"THE HERO TEAM WINS!"
Your jaw dropped.
The ice quickly melted, solidifying your theory about the boy having two quirks. Todoroki didn't even give them a chance to think before he obliterated them. The thought of being in the same class as someone so skilled made your stomach uneasy.

After a failed attempt at making conversation with Todoroki, the class soon ended and you were finally approved to go see your brother. You knew he had gotten a little beat up during his practice but you weren't expecting it to be as brutal as it was.
Spots of purple and red littered his pale skin in all different shapes and sizes. There were countless bandages plastered on his head and wrapped around different limbs. He was still hooked up to an IV when you walked in, slowly recovering from the aftermath of Recovery Girl's quirk.
"Mom is so not going to like this." You sighed, pulling up a squeaky chair to his bedside.
"You should be in class, girl." Recovery Girl barked from her desk.
