Now
I couldn't believe the words coming out of his damn mouth.

"Izuku." I grit my teeth, clenching onto the desk before me. "What the fuck do you mean by Dabi hasn't been in prison for the last six years?"

This lead isn't the silver lining I was hoping for.

This lead means that her missing person case has gotten way more dangerous that I could have ever imagined.

During high school, Dabi noticed the interest Shoto had in her. He noticed that she receipted his interest for the most part, and she must have become a part of his vow to destroy everything his brother ever loved.

No.

"Shoto is on the way now, he has more information...more files." He gulped.

The news must've come from his agency then. He merged his own with Endeavor's this year, giving him much more access to information all over the city and country.

Eijiro was quiet.

I didn't fucking like it when he was quiet. It made it all to real that everything was wrong when he didn't have some to say.

"E..." I started, but my voice clenched in my throat.

If she was really with Dabi—I could only imagine all of the things he would have done to her. He would have taken everything and anything he could to destroy Shoto.

Was she even alive? She must've been, right? He would have put her body on display to encourage his brother's suffering.

For a love like that, it can only truly be shattered with the complete loss of a person.

There's still hope, she's only categorized as missing. But death kills all hope.

She's still alive.

She has to be.

But in what fucking condition?

We sat in silence until Shoto arrived. My thoughts were swarmed with her, Dabi, and Kota. What would we do if Shoto comes in with more news? A lead? What if we formed an attack plan and had to leave tonight?

Where would he be safest?

Would they know exactly where to go to find him?

Will I be able to save her and protect him—

The door opened.

Shoto wasn't deterred by our silence.

He sat down a thick manilla file my desk. Shutting the door tightly behind him.

"That's everything I have. They worked endlessly to gather this all."

I stood, I had only been sitting down for a minute anyways. I was before him in two steps and my fist collided with his face. He stumbled back and when he lifted his head, covering his cheek, he looked at me like he knew he deserved it.

Damn right he did.

I grabbed him by the collar of his stupid hero costume and brought him close to my face, the snarl never leaving it.

"It's your damn fault! If you had just kept your hands off her back then—this would have never happened!" I screamed.

"We can look at it from that way, or we can view it as if you hadn't been such a pompous little prick in Junior high then she and I would have never happened."

"I'll fucking kill you."

Those words were the breaking point for Izuku and Eijiro.

They both grabbed me, knowing Todoroki was better at composing himself.
