(This chapter will be Y/N's, Hu Tao's and ARON's experience of getting the items for the ceremony)

(Reminder that this happens at the EXACT same time as part (1) of this does.)

Y/N POV:

We waved the Traveller, Paimon and Kassim goodbye then followed Murata into a small room on the side of the palace. Inside, there were some boxes and Mora scattered around the place.

Murata:"Help yourself. You may find something useful in here."

Murata left, leaving us three in the room. Before progressing towards the boxes, we all agreed to train quickly as we knew that the Traveller would be pretty hasty getting everything ready.

We scattered around the dark room, lit by one flickering lantern. I opened up a crate, inside was some rotting fowl and a few tins of food. The food expires in a few decades, so it would be useful, if we were in a zombie apocalypse or something. The next crate was full to the brim of hilichurl masks. They ranged in colour and pattern, but none of this would be useful in the long run.

Hu Tao:"Ohmygod."

ARON and I looked towards Hu Tao, who was crouched by a large rectangular box. We both ran over and looked inside the box.

Hu Tao:"This is the most beautiful coffin I've seen in my life!"

ARON sighed then walked off. I hit Hu Tao on the back, as a reminder to be serious. She giggled then I walked back, smiling.

The next few boxes had more food, mora, monster drops, and occasionally a living slime inside a barrel. ARON had no luck either with the boxes, whereas Hu Tao stayed next to the coffin she just found.

I looked over at Hu Tao.

Y/N:"You going to check another box, Tao?"

Hu Tao:"Can you help me open this?"

ARON continued opening boxes, oblivious as to what we were doing. I went over to her, kneeled down beside her and placed my hand on the coffin lid next to her, just like when we opened that chest together so many weeks ago. Thinking back to that moment made me realise how far we've gotten in discovering my past. I bet, that with this girl, I'll be able to figure out everything I wanted to. We opened the coffin, dust sprinkling from the rim, and vines being ripped at the edges. Inside was almost what we expected. A skeleton. It was wearing some royal clothes. I didn't want to jump straight to conclusions about who it was, but the one thing we noticed was the weapon it was holding. It was a Polearm.

It had four blades at the top. They were all rusted from how long it's been since they were last used. There was a orb between the two blades that shone bright red. The handle had a small rope on it. The rope was withered and covered in dust. Towards the end of the handle, there was a small grip and some chains coming off the edge. The chains needed some force to break apart, but became very loose once they were.
