The Archon Ceremony - Part III

Hu Tao POV:

I lunged towards Y/N multiple times. I attacked her with my Polearm as much as I could. I know I'm not strong enough to defeat her, but after hearing what Murata said, I may have an idea.

If she needs to be sorted out from the inside, then I need to do something which would snap her back to reality. I've been friends with Y/N for years, if we exclude the disappearance, then still months. I've grown extremely close to her so what I'm going to try to do hopefully won't be awkward afterwards.

I kept attacking Y/N and dodging her attacks, waiting for her to let her guard down. I whipped my Polearm back, entering my Paramita Papilio state. I continued to attack her, until the perfect moment. I knocked her Polearm out of her hand, and it flew a couple metres away.

 I gripped onto her left wrist and pulled it back. She had hold of my right arm and pulled me towards her. I was inches away from her, I tilted my head slightly, closed my eyes and leaned in. Unexpectedly, she heated up her wrist, burning my hand. I pulled back and let go of her wrist. Without having time to prepare, she punched me in the chest, knocking me back. She then punched me several times, knocking me back with each punch she lands. She activated her gauntlets and uppercut me into the air. I saw her hold her Polearm again and raise it to the sky. She's going to use her Burst. It could kill me.

She raised it to the sky and smashed the Polearm towards the ground. I looked to the sky. I saw the same fire dragon head from when we encountered the Fatui. It's mouth was wide open; charging right at me. It let out a blood curdling roar. It hit me. It smashed me into the ground. I couldn't move. It hurts so much. I grabbed onto the ground in front of me and looked up at her. The point of the Polearm was pointed directly at me. She glared into my eyes, with an intention to kill. I pulled myself out of the attack area of her Burst before it could cause more damage. It was like trying to escape a tornado. My hand got out of the Burst area. I gripped onto the rock and pulled my body out of it's damage area. This is my only chance. I have to snap her back to reality.

I pulled myself out and ignored all the burning around my body and stood up. I got out my Polearm, entered Paramita Papilio and hit her with every attack I had. I didn't stop, I didn't let her hit me, I was going to win this.

I hit her until her back was against the graffitied wall. I pushed my hands into her shoulders, pinning her to the wall, then without hesitation I smashed my lips into hers.

Y/N POV:

I suddenly felt something against my lips and then saw a bright light overtake the darkness. I fell to my knees. I heard a lot of people talking and a lot of red symbols in the sky. Is the possession over?

???:"It was successful. The curse was weakened."

The Spear Curse? Wait, did the Traveller and the others defeat me? I wonder how they did it. Are they all okay? Is anyone hurt?

???:"Let's welcome the new Pyro Archon."

I saw six people, all different colours. It was blurry, but I think I saw Zhongli, and the Purple girl, is she the Electro Archon that Zhongli mentioned once? Wait.. Are these the Archons?

The Zhongli-like figure walked up to me and held their hand out. I held their hand and stood up. 

I then felt myself returning to the real world. They all said 'well done' and then I snapped back to reality.

I closed my eyes.

I was back in reality. The feeling of something on my lips was still there. I guess I should see what damage I've done...

I opened them and saw Hu Tao kissing me whilst pinning me to a wall. Was this how I came back? I cupped her cheeks and leant forwards, kissing her back. She softened the kiss, let go of my shoulders then rested her arms over my shoulders. We were kissing for about five to ten seconds, then Hu Tao pulled back and looked at me. Her face turned red.
