(sup yall. sorry for the late uploads lately, just finished off my GCSE's and I'm currently mourning over the fact that i was too scared to talk to my crush still. anyway, its the summer holidays now and i have a 2 week holiday coming up soon (18th july) but hopefully ill be able to finished an archons history by that time. big ty for everyone whose kept up with this series, i wasnt expecting it to get any attention ngl, thank you sm for taking an interest in this story and i hope u enjoy the chapter :) )
Y/N's POV:
We left the University and started heading towards the outskirts of Sumeru. Jean stopped and looked back at all of us.
Jean:"So. Lisa and I have to collect some things around Teyvat for the Doctor and.."
She looked at the list in confusion.
Jean:"What's Enkanomiya? A-Anyway... Y/N, you're off to Natlan I'm guessing. Is Hu Tao going with you?"
Hu Tao:"Yup!"
Hu Tao smiled widely.
Jean:"Bennett, what are you doing?"
Bennett:"Um.. If it's alright I'd like to go with Y/N and Hu Tao.. If they want me to."
Y/N:"Of course!"
Bennett:"Yess!"
Jean:"Bennett's an adventurer so expect him to be overly excited for Natlan."
Y/N:"Heh.. Natlan was still looking pretty run down last time I went."
Jean:"It'll find a way to please him. If there's people or any sort of creature then he's going mental over it."
Y/N:"I mean I did put a giant dragon in charge of Natlan last time I went there."
Jean:"I bet that'll keep him busy. Let's try and meet up back at the University soon."
We saw the large man from before run up to us.
Gabriel:"Message from Dr. Joselyn, please return next week, not a few days."
He ran off before we could reply to him. How come she want's us later?
Hu Tao, Bennett and I headed off towards Natlan whilst waving goodbye to Jean and Lisa. We walked through Sumeru until we were back as the lake from before. I looked left and right until I could spot the recently made bridge leading into the volcanic territory, however my observations weren't needed when we noticed a thin layer of ice glazing atop the lake. We looked across the river to see ARON just how we met him the first time: looking lifeless in his stripped black suit on the other side of the lake. Bennett was a bit sceptical crossing the lake as he was convinced that he would plunge into the lake below due to his bad luck. I greeted ARON with a handshake and Hu Tao greeted him with a fist bump. Bennett introduced himself and pointed out how they both had white hair. ARON seemed confused from how Bennett was so lively despite having a curse - which he figured out after mentioning the scars all over Bennett. We arrived at the town which looked no different than before.
Y/N:"ARON."
ARON:"Hm?"
Y/N:"How's Astarot?"
ARON:"She's fine. Sleeps often but other than that she's a pretty good leader."
Bennett:"Who's Astarot?"
Hu Tao:"A giant dragon who Y/N put in charge of Natlan."
Bennett:"Oh yeah 'cause it makes total sense to put a freaking dragon in charge of a town. Then again.. Stormterror practically force ruled Mondstadt that one time.."
No-one questioned Bennett and continued walking to Murata's house. The guards at the gate between the slums and the developed areas moved out of the way once seeing me. I waved to them and they waved back. I saw Murata slouching on the couch through a window so I decided to walk in the house without telling her. I barged through the door and she shot her head around to see who it was.
