Jaemin awoke to the sound of the birds chirping outside of his window and of the sun rays on the opposite wall. He felt at peace and he didn't want this moment to end. He was in bed, with his girlfriend resting her head on his bare chest and an arm around his waist.

He hugged her a little bit tighter, his heart swelling with love for the girl in his arms. This caused Minjeong to blink her eyes slowly open.

"Hey," Jaemin said as he smiled, watching Minjeong's cute sleepy face. She only hummed while trying to chase away the sleepiness.

"Good morning, love," he said, then he continued to kiss her temple.

"Good morning," Minjeong replied, moving slightly to kiss Jaemin on the neck. Jaemin lets out a raspy chuckle as he feels ticklish when her soft lips make contact with his skin.

Eventually, they managed to get up from the bed to freshen up. Jaemin went out from their bathroom first, so while waiting for Minjeong, he sat in bed and leaned his back on the headboard while checking his phone to see if there were any important messages from the manager or his members.

When he saw Minjeong going out of the bathroom, he put away his phone, opening his arms to let Minjeong cuddle in his embrace with her head in the crook of his neck. Jaemin rested his head on Minjeong's shoulder and tightened his embrace around his girlfriend's small waist, loving the feeling of having the girl he loves in his arms.

Jaemin lifted her head slowly until their faces aligned. His eyes were focused on her small face, appreciating the beauty in front of him. And sometimes, his eyes stayed a bit longer at her soft lips. When Minjeong noticed this, she smiled and chose to kiss him. It was only a few seconds of lips touching before Minjeong pulled away. Unsatisfied, Jaemin pouted slightly before pulling her body closer to his if possible.

The kiss was sweet and slow, full of the love they had for each other. They stayed like this for a few minutes, kissing each other and enjoying the feeling of having the one you love the most by your side.

"What time is it?" Minjeong asked when the kiss stopped, lips red and swollen.

"Barely eight. Do you want to go back to sleep? It's Saturday, and we don't have to get up just yet. Or are you hungry? Want to get some breakfast?"

"I don't want to sleep and I'm not hungry yet. I just want you to hold me."

And how could Jaemin say no to her when she was looking at him with such love and devotion in her eyes? When they first started dating, they both had a hard time keeping the relationship steady along with their own hectic schedules. The lack of meeting each other in their first months of dating also made the couple struggle for a while.

"Of course, you know I will always hold you," Jaemin said with a smile, then he kissed Minjeong's forehead and whispered, "I will hold you for as long as I live." Looking back with as much love as Minjeong did.

"I love you so much." Minjeong said, resting her head back again against her boyfriend's chest, hearing Jaemin's heartbeat, a melody that she will never forget or get tired of.

"I love you too, Minjeong, more than anything."

They stayed silent for a few moments, enjoying each other's company.

Life as an idol hadn't always been easy. They couldn't easily go on a date in public, but above all, they always had each other and their love. The silence was broken when Minjeong spoke.

"Jaemin?"

"Did you ever think that our life would be like this?" Minjeong asked, resting his chin on Jaemin's chest to look at him.

"Damn, you always make me cry," Minjeong chuckled while wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "I love you too."

She lifted her head from where it rested and cupped Jaemin's cheek. Jaemin closed his eyes and leaned into the touch. Minjeong didn't need to say or do anything more; Jaemin already knew that she felt the same.

When Jaemin opened his eyes, he did the same as Minjeong and cupped his loved one's face with his hand. They stared at each other, their eyes shining with love and devotion. Minjeong sometimes places a few kisses on Jaemin's face. After a few seconds passed, they lay back in bed, and this time it was Jaemin who got his head in the girl's neck while hugging her waist as if he were afraid to let go. He gave her some feathery kisses and enjoyed being held by her. At first, Minjeong wanted to get held by her boyfriend, but having him in her arms, hugging her, was just as perfect.

Like this, they drifted to sleep again. They would get up later, but until then, being near each other, knowing that they wouldn't rather be anywhere else, was all they needed.
