random kisses 🐶💙

Jeno still isn't quite used to the whole 'kissing just to kiss' thing. He's mostly just had heat of the moment kisses that never lasted that long. But now he had Karina, who seemed to love kissing him, and Jeno just wasn't used to it yet, even after months of officially dating.

He wasn't used to the nice, warm, and swooping feeling he got when Karina planted a kiss on him at random times. He would never be able to explain that feeling to anyone, though; it was a little too personal for him to admit. But he loved it. It was secure and contented because she never stopped kissing him.

Even when they were just watching some random show, Jeno turned its volume down so low that they could barely hear it because he wanted to hear her talk. Karina would pause for a second, turn to Jeno, and just kiss him, like she couldn't bear to not kiss him every 15 minutes. It was just too hard for her to not to.

When Jeno asked Karina about why she kissed him so much, she just responded, "Because I love you, and I also get this nice fuzzy feeling when I do it, so I keep doing it."

Jeno's only response to that was, "oh." while he watched Karina go back to eating some chips. He had never really been told "I love you" before. He didn't think that those three words could make him so warm, and maybe a little choked up.

He said it back to her on the next day, while they were eating breakfast, just a quick "I love you." Karina fumbled a little with her cereal bowl, but she still looked at Jeno with the sweetest smile, feeling warm inside.

This is all still so surreal to him. He can't believe he gets to fall asleep and wake up next to the most beautiful woman he's ever seen every day. A woman who kisses him whenever she wants just because she loves him. Jeno had never felt so happy before, and he really wanted this to be his forever.
